    Google Adsense ad revenue for December, 2025 was just $30 over the cost of the lease for the server running this site. So, in effect, the money providing the incentive for me to continue running this site is coming SOLELY from the paid memberships and sponsorships here. Which honestly ain't much....

:rofl: Assuming you are the one who voted right before me, we voted very similarly. We both don't like our weight, nor our lack of wealth, and we both put we are bugged (humorously, I hope) by the opposite sex :raspberry

Apparently pickles don't bug you as much as they do me, although I have a weird habit with them, I don't order burgers without them, because I pick them off and eat them. For some reason I like them, just not with the burger.

My housemate found a "road rage test" on the web and was asking me the questions as I cleaned a cage this evening. Yeah, I scored pretty high. :rofl: He was totally convinced when he rode along to pick up feeders/dog food/cat food/kitty litter as he finally had the opportunity to see it for himself. Some of these idiots drive worse than the Mosul taxis!
 
you had nothing that bothered me on your list but two thgings that really bother me... people whom grind their teeth (that noise) and the feel of terra cotta against my skin (i have to wear gloves) oh and ignorant people... just sheer stupidity :hot:
 
People bug me....

Rude, self serving, inconsiderate, selfish, mean, dishonest, thieves, liars, etc. Those types of people bug me.

It bugs me that my government grossly mismanages the billions upon billions of dollars we entrust them with every year. It bugs me that my government seems to care more about big business than it does the common man. It bugs me that every year my government takes away more and more of my rights and my privacy. It bugs me that my government lies to me on a daily basis. It bugs me that our society seems to put more value on money than on people.

It bugs me that CEOs and other upper management of big companies can make 30, 40, 50, 60, 70 million a year or more, yet have 100's or even 1000's of employees making well below poverty level wages.

I could go on but it just depresses me to even think about it all.

Thanks for the post. You saved me some time. Fairness, kindness, unselfishness, honesty and love for your fellow man-the lack thereof in day to day conduct really bugs me.

To be honest, not too much bugs me...financially I am ok...love-wise I am a lucky s.o.b....family is good...don't mind chipped nails either. Jeez. I must be happy or something. LOL.

As a teacher, I have a lot of pet peeves in that field....

It bugs me when people complain about the job teacher's are doing while being stingy enough to not want to pay an extra pennny here or there to see that teacher's have a decent salary.

It bugs me when parents encourage their kids to remain in poverty when they tell their kids not to worry if they are nearly failing in math, because they always failed math and they're doing pretty good (NOT).

It bugs me when parents don't teach their children respect, when parents aren't aware of the things their kids do, give them too much freedom, and when they blame every little thing that the child does on the teacher instead.

It bugs me that people think my job is easy just because I get so much "vacation" time. Well if you really want to know... sure I get 4 weeks off during the school year, 10 weeks off for the summer... And the average week during the school year sees me working 60 hours a week, not to mention the 20 - 40 hours a week I work on school material during every single vacation (including summer). When all else fails I continue work on my textbook which is close to 1000 pages long now.

The cruelty to animals, the lies, the deception and theft I see on the BOI also bugs me. That and the bickering and the "HOUNDS" of BOI. (I miss Richie)

In any case.... mostly i'm one of those happily married people with few peeves.
 
Honestly the only things that REALLY REALLY bugs me, and not just ticks me off or make me want to scream is:

Anyone that attempts to hurt my family in anyway if it be by words, actions or even looking at them funny and making them feel uncomfortable.

I can deal with just about anything other than that, but where my family is concerned is where my what really really bugs me comes into play and most likely gets me into the worst trouble.

Let me add incompetence to my list, and the infuriating inability for civilians to be impressed when I offer to put my size 6 1/2 R combat boot up their 4th point of contact when they show a distinct indifference to said incompetence on their part! UGH! Can y'all tell I am still dealing with VA?
 
Self imposed ignorance! We have a world of information at our fingertips, yet a large number of people prefer to believe what they will rather than do some research and find out what is going on. I have people ask me questions that they could find the answers for themselves, then they argue with the answers I provide and continue to argue whatever they have already decided to believe. Why do they not educate themselves? Why fight when you are wrong? I like to argue as much as anyone, but to argue the point AFTER you have been proven wrong is just irritating.

Lies bother me. Lying can be used for entertainment, but when it is a serious issue honesty is best.

Money is a given, but even if I had all the money I wanted I would still have personal issues.
