In short, DON'T! Email notices are to ONLY alert you of a reply to your private message or your ad on this site. Replying to the email just wastes your time as it goes NOWHERE, and probably pisses off the person you thought you replied to when they think you just ignored them. So instead of complaining to me about your messages not being replied to from this site via email, please READ that email notice that plainly states what you need to do in order to reply to who you are trying to converse with.

Yeah, I know. They are a pain in the butt. But they pay the bills to keep my server running. Just a fact of life, I am afraid.

Want to get rid of them? Simple. Just become a Contributor level member or above and they will be gone. -> Please click HERE."

Is that too much for me to ask of you to keep this site running? Well, sorry about that. I too wish I could get everything for free. But alas.....

    =====================

Google Adsense ad revenue for December, 2025 was just $30 over the cost of the lease for the server running this site. So, in effect, the money providing the incentive for me to continue running this site is coming SOLELY from the paid memberships and sponsorships here. Which honestly ain't much....

I was gonna do the hand shot, but they just wouldn't hold still long enough. These are two of the babies I produced this year.

Ritchie what a beautiful, happy looking family!!!! How old are your children? Your wife is lovely!!

AAaaaww Ritchie, your kids are adorable! You know you better start warming up your swinging arm now; your little girl is going to be a SERIOUS heart breaker. Your little boy looks brand new, and yet your wife is tigress-lean...how did she DO that?

How old are they?

They are jungle carpet X diamond python intergrades
The pics of the male (1st 2) are about a month old. His colors are just starting to come in, the female is a little further along in the process...both will become much more yellow

How is the pittsburg zoo these days. I remember a few years back they were rebuilding it with naturalistis enclosures. How did it turn out??? I liked the pitts zoo and the carnegie museum and even a walk down at the point to get sprayed by the fountain. The last time we were there we took a tour on the "requin", the submarine they have there a a exhibit. My father said i had to since he served on it for two years when he was in the "submarine Service", back then it was a special brach of the navy.

Hey you big Russian you! The zoo is really coming along-the aquarium is done-the only problem when I went 2mon. ago is they had the underground part closed for renovation and were housing some of the snakes in the learning center at the children's zoo-I mainly go for the reptiles and bears so-that sort of sucked! they had a real large piece of ground cleared between the aquarium and underground area-so I don't know if they are building on to either of those or if it will be something new.

Stef

ya know I've never been down to see the submarine-and haven't been to the point in years! I always hear good things about those-but I'm not a big crowd person and tend to steer clear of places where that could be the case.

Seriously though, NO. I have no offspring of my own. :) I have not yet met the one I want to be married to. Though a couple have come close. LOL Just not quite close enough . I dont take commitments like that lightly. :)
Besides, I didn't really start to "grow up" till I was about thirty. Too busy having fun to get tied down. :dgrin: :dgrin:

Ciao,
RICK

I hear you Richard! Are your boys kept together? I see them eating well there-getting hitched can be tough-stay sane-I didn't start growing up either till around 30- I remain teachable cause theres so much more growing to do.It helps if you find someone who's willing to grow-up too.
Hey -you never wrestled an alligator have you? Know anywhere I can learn?

Thanx
stef

They were kept together at that time, but not any longer. I had just moved and wasn't fully set up yet.

Yeah, tell me aboutit. That's my only problem. I seem to attract the younger ones, and they aren't ready to grow up yet. LOL No worries. My time will come. :)

I wrestled an Amer. Gator, about 6 ft, but it was a pet, and not overly aggressive. It was a rescue about 2 yrs back. The guy left a whole house full of exotics. Granite, and Albino burms, mormal burms, ETB's, ATB's, lizards, and two Indian cobra's. (the reason he left was envenomation). But CDWR always call me when snakes are involved cus I've handled venomous and non for years.
Let me tell you. You think these animals were easy to place? LOL You would think so, but it took like two years to find appropriate adoption parents. Most don't want a 12ft burm, or 5 ft Bengal monitors. We dont even know how he got those. They are CITES 1 I believe. They are at the El Paso Zoo now.

But I digress. I would suggest watch a lot of Croc Hunter. :) Stevie really knows his stuff. All the gator people I know, grew up around them, so years of practice taught them.

Ciao,
Rick

nah don't need my swinging arms.
I have guns. So many I lost count.
What is even better is I have TONS of bullets to go with the guns.

The wife is lean lookin because she did not have a chance to get big. My sone came out three months early. He is nine months old right now......but in reality he should only be six months old. He crawls around and actually stand up by clinging on to things. (Too early for a six month old I think)

Want to know what TOO early for a "six" month old?
You go to change his dieaper.....he starts reaching down and giggling.... As soon as the diaper comes off....his hands are down there making sure his thingy does not run away.

Oh and my Daugther is three. She never went through the jealousy stage like everyone said she will. She loved him and always tried to take care of him from the very first day he came home. From the VERY first day he came home......she did not want to go anywhere without her brother.

Yup I am spoiled.
Only thing that would be better is if I can have my snakes again. (living conditions prevent animals of all kinds.....except one fish)

True that! I always have a couple thousand rounds around. Never too many bullets. :dgrin: Besides, it don't hurt your knuckles when ya just shoot 'em.
And for guns..........Never forget how many you have! That's a sin!! LOL Like most red blooded americans, My guns have names. HA HA

Hey people! Richard where did you learn to handle the hot snakes? Did you have a mentor? I've never handled any. I have a guy I get frozen mice from who has a bunch but he sorts of creeps me out so I can't ask him to work with me. I was looking around and Florida has alot of classes and things to learn with reptiles-I'm like out here in left Field when it comes to snakes and crocs in Pa.! Well I'll probably never meet Steve, so I'll just have to make you my new idol  At least I can get some feedback from you!
I too am starting to work as a rescue, how did you find homes for that houseful? Did you use the internet-flyer's-shows-word of mouth? I've gone around to Pet stores and police stations and offered info and given them cards I've had done. Hey any help would be appreciated! Thanks hon.
