In short, DON'T! Email notices are to ONLY alert you of a reply to your private message or your ad on this site. Replying to the email just wastes your time as it goes NOWHERE, and probably pisses off the person you thought you replied to when they think you just ignored them. So instead of complaining to me about your messages not being replied to from this site via email, please READ that email notice that plainly states what you need to do in order to reply to who you are trying to converse with.

Yeah, I know. They are a pain in the butt. But they pay the bills to keep my server running. Just a fact of life, I am afraid.

Want to get rid of them? Simple. Just become a Contributor level member or above and they will be gone. -> Please click HERE."

Is that too much for me to ask of you to keep this site running? Well, sorry about that. I too wish I could get everything for free. But alas.....

    =====================

Google Adsense ad revenue for December, 2025 was just $30 over the cost of the lease for the server running this site. So, in effect, the money providing the incentive for me to continue running this site is coming SOLELY from the paid memberships and sponsorships here. Which honestly ain't much....

I don't get too many people my age hitting on me, but I get a lot of parents trying to hook me up with their boys.
I believe you made a mistake!
When you put your birth date in your profile, you accidentally added an extra ten years. :hehe:

Heck, I'll play along - speaking of funny photos...

This created a stir the first time I posted it. My (soon to be) business name is Grinning Geckos...and everyone wanted to know where my grin was! This was actually the first time I had walked into the sun that day and I'm thinking "MY EYES!". Me and the sun don't get along well. I actually do smile and laugh quite often, just not when I'm being blinded.

Y'all are posting some GREAT pictures. Each of you is as unique as the wonderful personalities you bring to Fauna.

Just as we are seeing that one cannot necessarily tell a reptile keeper by looks, so too, there are so many different personalities: from gentle and quiet to outgoing and vociferous, all of us belong, here at Fauna.

I have to admit I have a soft spot in my heart for children, and yours is just a beautiful baby, Dennis.. :)

OK, here I am with my two daughters, Laurie, almost 16, and Katelyn, now 10. The photo is about 6 months old.

And yes, I am well armed.

They are beautiful, beautiful girls, Jim. You will indeed have your hands full the next few years, teenagers are both a challenge, and a tribute to parenting as they make that leap into adulthood. Your girls look happy and healthy, (and you look like a proud Dad)... :)

Yeah, you just keep a REAL good eye on that line. But whatever you do, DON'T be lookin towards the back door. That will NOT be me sneaking out with your lovelys, no, not me at all.

My daughter turns 13 tomorrow. She is FARRRRRRRRR to cute for my own good. I'm armed as well but will rely largley on my winning personality to get across the do's and don'ts regarding her.

You know what I mean?

OK, I had to get in on the fun, lol. Here's one of me and the ol man on our bike.......he's the one with facial hair. ;)

Do I look like I could be flying down the highway with a python wrapped in my arms? :hehe:

Cat that is a great pic of you! (and a very nice looking guy if you don't mind me saying so) :)

I was reviewing the poll votes and am amazed to see two votes on the embroidered britches choice, which I made up to be funny.

I never have been to a reptile show yet although I love to shop at the mall; and I have never seen snake embroidered britches in a store for either men or women (have never seen 'em on a person either for that matter).

Are there any such things for real? Have I been missing out on an important fashion statement?

Up until the time you said "ol man" you could have flown down the highway of life with me in your arms....baby ;). He's a lucky man, hes got the coolest dog, a way cool bike, and it would seem right now...the hottest fauna lady. Shmokin....

Wendy...care to challenge?

You guys should all go put threads up in the Rogue's Gallery, so folks can go search for your mugs!

K, i suppose i'll join in on the fray here. I guess i follow what people *in my area at least* think herp keepers look like. Tat's, Peircings, long hair, blah blah, etc... Im also a professional peircer on top of keeping and attempting to breed herps.

I would say that is a fair statement!:) You totally look like the sterotypical image of a reptile dude!
(No offense:) ) After seeing that last photo...if I saw you out in public, I would probably have to cross the street... lol!

But its the complete opposite, i ALWAYS have a smile on my face, im always laughing and making others laugh, and am ALWAYS in a GREAT mood. I find a silver lining to every cloud! Anger just isnt my thing, BUT when i do get angry....... :)

You DO have a great death stare. I'd be much more nervous about the quiet neighbor down the street than someone into a goth lifestyle. Ok....so a few of my friends are goth, so I'm biased. They're some of the best (and most misunderstood) people I know.
