In short, DON'T! Email notices are to ONLY alert you of a reply to your private message or your ad on this site. Replying to the email just wastes your time as it goes NOWHERE, and probably pisses off the person you thought you replied to when they think you just ignored them. So instead of complaining to me about your messages not being replied to from this site via email, please READ that email notice that plainly states what you need to do in order to reply to who you are trying to converse with.

Yeah, I know. They are a pain in the butt. But they pay the bills to keep my server running. Just a fact of life, I am afraid.

Want to get rid of them? Simple. Just become a Contributor level member or above and they will be gone. -> Please click HERE."

Is that too much for me to ask of you to keep this site running? Well, sorry about that. I too wish I could get everything for free. But alas.....

    =====================

Google Adsense ad revenue for December, 2025 was just $30 over the cost of the lease for the server running this site. So, in effect, the money providing the incentive for me to continue running this site is coming SOLELY from the paid memberships and sponsorships here. Which honestly ain't much....

Great pic Yvonne! Are you related to Dianna who got married a couple of yrs ago from out that way?
Anyway- the show is in Harmerville exit 5 on the Pa. turnpike.
And I have heard wonderful things about the Hamburg show-how far from Pittsburgh is that?
I do need to get to more shows and hook up with the girls in the area-the guys get me in too much trouble! :) If its not too far-ROAD TRIP!!!!!

Aaawww, thank you :) No...my maiden name is Beck; my cousins are in Michigan.

WHOO HOOO! Great! It looks to be on the other side of PA; Hamburg looks to be in the bottom third of the far eastern side of our state. It's probably 4 or so hours away. When is the Harmarville show again?

I still don't know what you look like; I searched this thread, but couldn't find your post with the picture of you. I need a pic of both you and hhmoore, so we all can see who we're talking to, and so you and I can mercilessly bother hhmoore at the Hamburg show :crazy03:

"Wow, those Lemur pix were amazing. Do you work for a zoo or something?"

I worked at a zoo durring my "time" in Florida. I was the Dietician, and I was also incharge of the Binturongs and the Coatis, as well as the enrichment for the primates (which ialso ncluded the human guests on occasion). Here are a few more pics.

Good, I am going to be there probably around 11am...what time will you be there?
If hhmoore is lurking, you need to post your pic, buddy.

One last pic. It is of a Binturong "Bearcat"
Aaaaww, I saw a real one at a show in Butler PA. The keeper had a honest to goodness mountain lion as well.
Aren't those the animals that smell like popcorn?

I don't lurk, except outside an occasional bedroom window, lol. And I posted my pic long ago - you'll just have to go back and search for it (I'll make it easy, it was post #81 of this thread). The other pic was just for Michele, because she asked SOOOO nicely.

and I would guesstimate that Hamburg is about 4 hours from Pittsburgh. It's exit 30 off I-78. You've got no excuse, cuz it's just as far for me and I go almost every time. I'll probably be a customer this time...I don't think I am going to feel up to doing the table (I really need to find somebody to do shows with me, it is a huge PIA trying to do everything myself...not to mention that I can't roam the show or take BR breaks)

btw - the next Hamburg show is Dec 3

Wow, that turtle could have had your arm...it looks MAD. Early one morning when I lived in WV, I shoved a snapper even bigger than that one off the middle of the road. What I didn't know at the time is how very long their necks are!
We DO have some handsome men on this site! I volunteer to pose the men for Lucille... :bluegrab: :bluegrab:

Aw, man I WORK that weekend! I'll try to switch or use one of my personal days.
That sounds too good to miss.

I'd be pretty impressed if it actually was bigger than that guy - he weighed over 90 lbs...not huge for an alligator snapper, but probably close to the record for regular ol' C. serpentina ssp. the alligator snappers have pretty short necks - pretty much what you see in the pic (so I was safe, but your concern was touching, lol). He opened his mouth like that every time I lifted him out of the water

Well, we finally got a voluteer!!!! I would be happy to sort through the preliminary test photos

Harald:

Yvonne's statement and your quote of her statement differ by a couple words, just those few end up making a GREAT difference to what the quotes mean to me.... :D

Oh, I am talking about a regular snapper; their necks are long. This one was so big, I could not budge it. I had to harrass it and shove it until it decided to move partly under its own power. It may or may not have been as big as I say; that was well over a decade ago.
Sooo, about me posing those men for you...I can handle the job, Lucille! You just say the word and I'll beat every one of yer lil poster boyz into submission
:dgrin:

This event alone will be arguably the most read thread in Fauna recent history. As you know, Fauna men are not known for their submissive attitudes; indeed some buck like broncos at the merest hint of authority.

To have them tamed by one who is as beautiful and obviously accomplished as you will be a sight, indeed.

I wonder of Rich could institute a pay-per-view for this one.......

Ooo, you say they are a challenge? :firedevil

Aaaww, Lucille I don't even know what to say; thank you. I quickly looked back in this thread because I haven't been involved from the beginning; you have NO reason to be shy!!! You look positively Scandinavian! Blue eyed blondes are rare indeed.

Nah, nobody wants to listen to a nag. I just kick bums until I'm obeyed. Men are GREAT just the way they are...Really, to all the women who are reading this post, whatever fashion faux pas we make, NOTHING we do could ever rival the Speedo - am I right? That's the best part about men, the fact that they couldn't care less, and they do what they want...Speedos and all.

Well, it's off to bed with me; see youall tomorrow :)
