In short, DON'T! Email notices are to ONLY alert you of a reply to your private message or your ad on this site. Replying to the email just wastes your time as it goes NOWHERE, and probably pisses off the person you thought you replied to when they think you just ignored them. So instead of complaining to me about your messages not being replied to from this site via email, please READ that email notice that plainly states what you need to do in order to reply to who you are trying to converse with.

Yeah, I know. They are a pain in the butt. But they pay the bills to keep my server running. Just a fact of life, I am afraid.

Want to get rid of them? Simple. Just become a Contributor level member or above and they will be gone. -> Please click HERE."

Is that too much for me to ask of you to keep this site running? Well, sorry about that. I too wish I could get everything for free. But alas.....

    =====================

Google Adsense ad revenue for December, 2025 was just $30 over the cost of the lease for the server running this site. So, in effect, the money providing the incentive for me to continue running this site is coming SOLELY from the paid memberships and sponsorships here. Which honestly ain't much....

New here FAITHINFROGS

jim_i_ruffies_lucky2003santahats.jpg

This is my hubby and I with our belated Ruffies our dog (unfortunately lost because of car accident) and Lucky ( I call him the luxter) I love frogs and am just begining to learn about frogs and ponds. I hope to have more than one someday and a pond in the back to boot. Gardening and frogs are my thing. Computers are my hubby's.

Charlene I am sorry for you loss of Ruffies.
The Luxter looks like a very happy kitty indeed.

First photo of family

Well, there's going to be a new addition to Fauna. This is Barry Gene (after my husband) and he is 21 weeks old today. I have had no symptoms; I found out at my OB/GYN's office 2 weeks ago because I complained of a lump in my abdomen. I figured all the missed periods were due to old age...this is our first child. Surprise!

YEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE HAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA

CONGRATULATIONS!!!!

I'll borrow a page from Richard C's book... aaww, shucks Lucille thank you!
I never wanted a child before now, but this has changed my whole outlook. All I can say is wow...

Gosh, I can't keep him to myself and he's not even born yet. You bet I'll be sharing the pix :) I'm hoping he looks like hubby because it would be wierd seeing a male version of myself...

Well, the party just turned ugly. I posted this in the boa forum, but it could go here as well. This is me in my natural environment, beer and boas in hand.

My lawn should look so good, lol.
Even once it turns green (still a few weeks away), the dogs have worn a few trails through it and I can't get the pit to stop chewing down trees......makes for an interesting look, lol

Well, I decided to throw my mug in the mix. I am the big ugly one (You know uncombed hair, Dirty cloths, Working in the yard, and well, anyway you know the story.) I am a reptile keeper, I guess I fit the profile, lol. The first picture is my son 9 months old, trying to help daddy. You know the type. :)
The second picture is of him before he helped daddy so much. :) I did not know when he helps me, it means more work for me. But I would not trade him for nothing!! The last one is, well you will figure it out.

You have a beautiful son!!! He is going to grow up to be just like daddy!!!
What kind of lizard is that?

Thanks Lucille!! Yea, I hope he turns out wanting to be a keeper. But I will not push him into it. I will say that the way he acts now, he is really showing interest in them. :) The lizard is one of my Argentine tegus.

more mugs...

yet another victim of "Herptile Profiling" :hehe:

Just a hobbyist, I've kept snakes since I was old enough to figure out the best hiding places for them in our house...My inspiration was my cousin Steve, who's black rat snake was found by his his mom...in their toilet :dgrin: ...pics are of meself and Krystal at the NARBC 05 show in Chicago :*)
