In short, DON'T! Email notices are to ONLY alert you of a reply to your private message or your ad on this site. Replying to the email just wastes your time as it goes NOWHERE, and probably pisses off the person you thought you replied to when they think you just ignored them. So instead of complaining to me about your messages not being replied to from this site via email, please READ that email notice that plainly states what you need to do in order to reply to who you are trying to converse with.

Yeah, I know. They are a pain in the butt. But they pay the bills to keep my server running. Just a fact of life, I am afraid.

Want to get rid of them? Simple. Just become a Contributor level member or above and they will be gone. -> Please click HERE."

Is that too much for me to ask of you to keep this site running? Well, sorry about that. I too wish I could get everything for free. But alas.....

    =====================

Google Adsense ad revenue for December, 2025 was just $30 over the cost of the lease for the server running this site. So, in effect, the money providing the incentive for me to continue running this site is coming SOLELY from the paid memberships and sponsorships here. Which honestly ain't much....

What do you want?

What I would like is a nice pair of Brooksi Kings. Not het for anything, just normals. I wouldn't mind a pair of goinis either. :) Okay, I wouldn't mind a representative pair of all the eastern kings from New Jersey to South Florida. :scatter:

I am a Splendida freak!!!! We are a minority to be sure but I think they are the perfect Getula. They do not get the monstrous size of some of the other getula and they calm down fairly fast. Mine musked and bit at first but now handle like my brooksi. I have Splendida from two different locales, natural intergrades (splendidaXholbrooki) from two locales, and a pair of Hypos. I would like to get a pair of Amels and a pair of Axanthic.

I would love to be able to keep and breed California Mountain Kings, of locality close to my home town, Tehachapi!

Maybe someday...

At this very moment I am looking for a male banded albino or het albino cal king, and I would really like to get another trio of Mexican Black Kings. I had them years ago and only bred them one season, then stupily sold the whole trio. Of course since then the prices went really high on them too, and I havent seen many available.

I'm currently looking for a female lavender in the 2' - 3' range.

I'd also like some brooksi hatchings - but I would prefer captive hatched from a gravid wild caught female.

There was a time when normal brooksi is what everyone sought after, because of how gorgeous they are as adults. Now - brooksi breeders seem to only be interested in breeding morphs, with the wild natural form getting very little attention - the wild natural form that use to be everyones desire.

I also want a pair of South Georgia eastern kings - and a pair of splendida.

But other than a sub-adult female lavender Cal King, I'm waiting for '07 hatchlings for anything else.

I'm kind of hoping there will be a female lavender > 2' < 3' at the show in Sacramento next month I can pick up.

Pyros! And cal kings.. and arizona mt kings, and durango mt.....

ok... scarlet kings too

..

and....

OK.. I agree with DAND... a pair of everything!

I would want an unrelated breeding pair of the extremely rare Todos Santos Island Kingsnake (Lampropeltis zonata herrerae)..........Yes, it's wishful thinking, and I would have better odds at winning the lottery, but that would be a subspecies that I would like to have(this is a wish list, right?)..................................D. If I could find a nice set of arizona mountain kings, I'd get them. (I'm picky)

If it were possible to keep scarlet kingsnakes in captivity...

Emmalee, exactly what do you mean about Scarlet Kingsnakes in captivity............................D. Mong

I didn't think they were available and that they were primarily snake and lizard feeders. I guess I've got outdated information?

Emmalee,...... Many are primarily small snake, and lizard feeders as you said, while others will gladly accept pinkies(when larger). The reluctant ones can usually be coaxed to eat mouse parts (for small snake) or pinkies (for larger snake) scented with lizard (also tail juice) . Another trick that works well with a larger reluctant scarlet is killing a pinkie, then sticking a piece of lizard tail in the pinkies mouth(juice side out) after scenting it. I see you are from ILLINOIS, and don't know if there's much in the way of lizards there. Here in South Florida, you see them all the time (brown anoles), and sometimes have to avoid stepping on them when your walking on the sidewalk they are so abundant. If you get a lizard by some means(pet shop or whatever) you can then freeze it and use it many, many times for scenting the problem feeders(if any).......I've owned many Scarlets in my day, and as a general rule, they usually aren't that big a deal to feed.......in any case, don't let someone tell you they can't be raised in captivity, I've enjoyed raising many of them, a little creative thinking can make all the difference in the world.......hope this helps......................D. A nice female Cal King. I have a male striped Cal that I have had for years. He was used for a long time in educational programs for local school kids when I worked at a state park and I would like to find a nice, calm female to pair him up with. Probably something that could be found every day, but I haven't found one that is "deserving" of him yet. Of all the snakes that have come and gone, for some reason I have always held on to him

MBK is at the top of my kingsnake list. Or _maybe_ a high orange hypo Florida King, if there was one to be found!

I would love a trio of Outer Banks Kings - but I live in NC so I can't have them..:(
