Replying to the email just wastes your time as it goes NOWHERE, and probably pisses off the person you thought you replied to when they think you just ignored them. So instead of complaining to me about your messages not being replied to from this site via email, please READ that email notice that plainly states what you need to do in order to reply to who you are trying to converse with.

    Google Adsense ad revenue for December, 2025 was just $30 over the cost of the lease for the server running this site. So, in effect, the money providing the incentive for me to continue running this site is coming SOLELY from the paid memberships and sponsorships here. Which honestly ain't much....

What gives -- Does dennis dynes get a pass???

My feelings on ignore...

I shouldn't have to put people on ignore if Rich wishes this site to be what he claims he wants it to be. I have refrained from posting to any and all threads started by Dennis, but I shouldn't have to edit my personal time here just to enjoy it.

Last time I checked people were permanently banned for cause insurruptible disruption to this site. I believe someone else falls into that category. I can and do feel this way. Why should I have to limit myself when this other person is incapable of doing so. I try like heck to follow the rules of this site and adhere to them to the best of my ability.

We expect no less from the rest of the members here. We all want this site to succeed. Heck, I could've paid the bare minimum membership required to post here, I chose to go a little above the call as I wanted to help this site survive. No, I didn't contribute as much as some, I just don't have it, but I feel I have just as much right to see this place succeed as those who did. I mean, sheesh, at least I paid my own membership fees...don't even let me go there.

I guess when it's all said and done I just don't think you should bite the hand that feeds you. If I took anything you said wrong, water under the bridge, but I don't think I'm too far off the mark.

I probably just earned myself another warning point, but I've been needing to say this for quite some time.
 
thats okay, it is the general concensus from what I have seen over the past month or two and I also agree..... hopefully you do not get points for stating your opinion. I'm sure Rich understands what we are saying, he has just chosen to deal with this in another way.
 
Well...

If I get points, I get points. I guess I just don't like feeling this way. I've felt this way for a while.

I had pneumonia and for two weeks I didn't come here much. I get back and Rich is "Taking Out The Trash" and making this a better site. YeeHaw! I'm all for that..although a little mass e-mail would've been nice as the format also changed, but hey, I can deal with that.

Then "this dog" starts peeing all over the site and nobody is cleaning it up. I mean really! Just marking spot after spot after spot...and it just went on. So we report posts and we ask questions and we are the ones who get little swipes at us for questioning why this dog is peeing everywhere. Just little swipes, but hey, we're not the ones peeing on this site.

I mean perhaps this site doesn't mean much to "the dog" and his urine, and he just feels the need to keep trying to mark his place. I find that disrespectful and sad.

I'm just a small voice in a big wind. I just hope someone doesn't mind the squeeking.

I agree and if I read what has been posted so far correctly, after he pays his ten dollars he will be issued another suspension for the posts he did not receive warning points yet.
Dennis has seven posts deserving of ten warning points each. Since he has been given warning points for one, he has six remaining deserving of an automatic suspension.

When he pays the ten dollars report one of the posts he has not received warning points for. Then again after he pays each one. He will have reached 100 points and then, Rich told him already. :wavey:

Seems fair to Dennis :dgrin: and he will not have a chance to post much.

Sure, I'll take that bet. In the past when Dennis has been suspended, I would have a handful of emails from him by now, which were mostly ignored. Not a peep out of him.

Hey Thanks Jim,But people may talk on all the attention you are giving me;)

Anyway i think i learned my lesson on the last suspension:)
I needed a few days to rethink the attention i have been getting And how to better deal with it
At first i was mad....
But
I Am Much Better Now!

You were out of line on eight consecutive posts. My point is that you should receive points for each of them. Since you have stated that people who break the rules "should be punished", how can you argue with that?
