    In short, DON'T! Email notices are to ONLY alert you of a reply to your private message or your ad on this site. Replying to the email just wastes your time as it goes NOWHERE, and probably pisses off the person you thought you replied to when they think you just ignored them. So instead of complaining to me about your messages not being replied to from this site via email, please READ that email notice that plainly states what you need to do in order to reply to who you are trying to converse with.

    Yeah, I know. They are a pain in the butt. But they pay the bills to keep my server running. Just a fact of life, I am afraid.

    Want to get rid of them? Simple. Just become a Contributor level member or above and they will be gone. -> Please click HERE."

    Is that too much for me to ask of you to keep this site running? Well, sorry about that. I too wish I could get everything for free. But alas.....

    =====================

    Google Adsense ad revenue for December, 2025 was just $30 over the cost of the lease for the server running this site. So, in effect, the money providing the incentive for me to continue running this site is coming SOLELY from the paid memberships and sponsorships here. Which honestly ain't much....

Ball Python? I have seen pictures of some for sale, but I have yet to see a noticeable difference between a blushing and a normal. Does anyone have pictures that can help or is it one I need to see in person.

Michael,
I'm not a BP enthusaist, so my response may not be complete (or totally precise)...but hopefully I'll be pretty close. If I err, I'm sure it will serve only to gain us both better information, lol.
Blushing, as I understand it, is a lighter area (or lighter shading, if you prefer) within the dark brown or black patterning on the back/upper sides of BPs. I believe that it is a trait common both in normals and various morphs (a ball python with blushing), as opposed to a morph of its own (a blushing ball python). I have no pics of BPs on my computer, with blushing or without; so rather than search and steal, I will refer you to Jon @ Next World Exotics. He has been posting a guide to the morphs, and I seem to recall him including blushing in some of them. http://www.nextworldexotics.com/hg.htm I hope this has helped (and been accurate)

Here you go.
This girl has a lot of blushing.

Another shot with a few other girls.

The same one from above is the one in the middle of this pic.

Hey, I see it now. Thank you very much that was really helpful. Is the blushing a genetic trait?

Not sure.

Most of my BP's have some. This girl just has more than the others.

I had a clutch 2 years ago from 2 BP's with not much blushing at all and got 2 babies that had an incredible amount on them. That clutch was odd though because there was also a melanistic baby in it. (*sigh* still kicking myself for selling them).

Oh, that is a bummer. I was think if it was genetic it would be great with the mojave or platnium, maybe even go great with a ghost or pastel. Just a thought. I just bought an entire clutch that has blushing(now that I have seen pictures I can see it in this clutch) and in the clutch was a desert ghost, the parents were not known to be hets, so it was a spoof. I guess I will find out in a few years what will come of these, maybe hets and I may learn if the blushing is genetic or not.
