• In case most of you have not noticed, I made changes to the donation amounts as well as the durations for all of the paid membership levels. Things are winding down here, and this seems to be the most prudent way to deal with the "end of life" period of this site.

    Contributor level members - $10 per 30 days
    Sponsors - Eliminated
    Benefactor level members - $25 per 30 days
    Endowment level members - $50 per 30 days

    On July 1, 2027, all paid memberships will be closed.

    On August 1, 2027, FaunaClassifieds will be terminated.

    Only change I expect that might take place is when I can get around to figuring out when the amount of money I would have to refund for the yearly paid memberships becomes less than the monthly expense of leasing my server, THAT date might be the termination date for the site.

    In short, DON'T! Email notices are to ONLY alert you of a reply to your private message or your ad on this site. Replying to the email just wastes your time as it goes NOWHERE, and probably pisses off the person you thought you replied to when they think you just ignored them. So instead of complaining to me about your messages not being replied to from this site via email, please READ that email notice that plainly states what you need to do in order to reply to who you are trying to converse with.

I have 3 Tiger snails in my freshwater bullfrog tank. I read online and was told at the pet store that they do not reproduce in freshwater which my tank certainly is.
I look today and what do I find? HUNDREDS of eggs and a few already hatched babies!
What happened? How did they hatch??

They actually might not be able to survive as young after hatching. If you noticed then starting to grow then they might have adapted to your water conditions. But considering how slow snails move I can't see them making a journey down the river to the sea, lay eggs and make their way back up the river. But who knows, maybe they live to be a hundred and time is on their side :shrug01:. If it becomes a problem you can get snail eaters. Throw a fiddler crab in there and it'll make escargo niblets out of them :rofl:
