    In short, DON'T! Email notices are to ONLY alert you of a reply to your private message or your ad on this site. Replying to the email just wastes your time as it goes NOWHERE, and probably pisses off the person you thought you replied to when they think you just ignored them. So instead of complaining to me about your messages not being replied to from this site via email, please READ that email notice that plainly states what you need to do in order to reply to who you are trying to converse with.

    Yeah, I know. They are a pain in the butt. But they pay the bills to keep my server running. Just a fact of life, I am afraid.

    Want to get rid of them? Simple. Just become a Contributor level member or above and they will be gone. -> Please click HERE."

    Is that too much for me to ask of you to keep this site running? Well, sorry about that. I too wish I could get everything for free. But alas.....

    =====================

    Google Adsense ad revenue for December, 2025 was just $30 over the cost of the lease for the server running this site. So, in effect, the money providing the incentive for me to continue running this site is coming SOLELY from the paid memberships and sponsorships here. Which honestly ain't much....

What is this Boa ?????

Hi Fellow Boa Lovers :) Once again I need your brain knowledge, heres the deal.Friday last I completed a trade with a gentleman H-D parts for 1 pair of Surinam Boas 1m/1f and and some odds and ends reptile stuff OK now comes the purpose of this post I know Surinam's and, When my son brought this all home to me The first snake I pulled out was the male Surinam's ....I was like ooh Nice .......Then I pulled out the female I was like This is no Surinam...lol...It is too lite, No Red...but nice just the same....I called him and we talked and he told me he got the pair last year at a pet store in Pa...they were litter mates...OK Not a big deal...But the more I looked at her, The same thing went through my mind, What is this female ???? I did some research(on line) but came up she is either a cross or het for some thing, OK brothers & sisters I need input here The picture is untouched and true to life of her so any help would be greatly appreciated...And I don't think I got robbed, think he did but.... :)

Bill,
I think that pet shop was confused about these animals being siblings.

Although color and pattern can vary dramatically within a litter, there is usually continuity within the group regarding head structure and scalation.

It's difficult to make an accurate assessment from just two pictures, but these two boas appear to have some questionable differences in these regards.

One note: I produced a similar looking animal a few years ago in a litter of normal Bci. This particular animal was the runt of the litter. She was very slow to get started, but ultimately caught up to her sibs. To this day, she has maintained this light coloration. I expect to breed her later this year.

Mike ,Thats what I thought too but they are about the same size, so basically she's just a very lite Normal??? If so thats cool no worries here.. :) And what are you breeding yours too ?? I like her she is cool looking :)

The father of mine is the sire of my Striped Anerythristic bloodline. I intend to breed this female to an Anerythristic that I purchased last year to prove her out.
