    In short, DON'T! Email notices are to ONLY alert you of a reply to your private message or your ad on this site. Replying to the email just wastes your time as it goes NOWHERE, and probably pisses off the person you thought you replied to when they think you just ignored them. So instead of complaining to me about your messages not being replied to from this site via email, please READ that email notice that plainly states what you need to do in order to reply to who you are trying to converse with.

    Yeah, I know. They are a pain in the butt. But they pay the bills to keep my server running. Just a fact of life, I am afraid.

    Want to get rid of them? Simple. Just become a Contributor level member or above and they will be gone. -> Please click HERE."

    Is that too much for me to ask of you to keep this site running? Well, sorry about that. I too wish I could get everything for free. But alas.....

    =====================

    Google Adsense ad revenue for December, 2025 was just $30 over the cost of the lease for the server running this site. So, in effect, the money providing the incentive for me to continue running this site is coming SOLELY from the paid memberships and sponsorships here. Which honestly ain't much....

What Is This Crap!

I haven't laughed this hard in a while! You Southern people are so adorable. I was raised in Mass on a penninsula. That means wind. And that means the wind NEVER stops. We stopped wearing shorts by the time classes started in early September. When we moved to NJ , I thought we were moving South, but that happened to be the year of one of the biggest blizzards of NJ history (93). 5ft snow for a month!

I am in PA now and woke up to a cute little hail storm this morning.

Adorable??? I haven't been called that since I was a fetus.... Granted it doesn't snow here much, and the cold hard fact is people around here freak out when the word "SNOW" is brought up on the local weather stations. They all run to the store and stock up on bread and milk. Myself i run to the liquor store and stock up on booze... ;)

Booze eh?!? hehehe, thats funny. We haven't had it bad enough up here (YET) to have to stock up on much. After a power failure earlier this year we got stocked up on batteries, candles, flashlights etc. Because i have reptiles i'm more concerned with them, so i've got a portable rack (metal and on wheels) that can be moved upstairs where its alot warmer (wood stove up there). I have those hot pads too. (i'll get the proper heat packs when i get some extra cash).

I wish people up here would freak out when it snowed (or freezes rain) cause it would make my life alot easier. But noooooooooooooooooo instead life goes on and no matter how bad it is driving through it to get to work is expected.............

............Oh man i need to win alot of money and just not work anymore :)

Here here sister! last year the actual temp got to around negative 5 and it snowed a foot overnight, and we STILL had school the next day... lol. what does it take to get a snow day around here?

Here it takes the local weatherman to say the word snow and everyone gets a snow day or two. ;)

I had to open my BIG mouth...

Whenever i say the word *yet* i end up getting more than i bargined for. I said the weather wasn't bad enough, well it got bad today. First day at a new job location and of course it has to be freezing rain outside. Then coming home, despite getting a bit warmer it rained and there were patches of fog so think i couldnt' see the front of my car. I'm thankful just to have gotten home alive LOL.

They say the weather is supposed to be nice the rest of the week, lets hope :)
