    In short, DON'T! Email notices are to ONLY alert you of a reply to your private message or your ad on this site. Replying to the email just wastes your time as it goes NOWHERE, and probably pisses off the person you thought you replied to when they think you just ignored them. So instead of complaining to me about your messages not being replied to from this site via email, please READ that email notice that plainly states what you need to do in order to reply to who you are trying to converse with.

    Yeah, I know. They are a pain in the butt. But they pay the bills to keep my server running. Just a fact of life, I am afraid.

    Want to get rid of them? Simple. Just become a Contributor level member or above and they will be gone. -> Please click HERE."

    Is that too much for me to ask of you to keep this site running? Well, sorry about that. I too wish I could get everything for free. But alas.....

    =====================

    Google Adsense ad revenue for December, 2025 was just $30 over the cost of the lease for the server running this site. So, in effect, the money providing the incentive for me to continue running this site is coming SOLELY from the paid memberships and sponsorships here. Which honestly ain't much....

What is this?

I picked this guy up at a pet store as an impulse buy. I'm a ball python person and know little about boas. Anyone know the locale/color?

Looks to be something of the Hog Isle/Sunset morph genre fall out, albeit low expression.
Clearly a high visual percentage Hog Island BCI something,something . . . . ?
Not a bad looking critter.

Hmmm... I'll try to post more pictures. I'd really like to figure out what it is so I can perhaps trade or sell it. I love the hell out of it. Great feeder and awesome temperament but I don't know what I'd do with it.

It does matter, you need to call it one or the other of those two names. They are both used in reference to what amounts to the same boa.

Guess it doesn't matter much as long as I know the morph.... thanks =]

I dont mean to take anything away from the snake because it's a beauty but to me & many others it does matter. Tommy mentioned "Without knowing the legit origins "purity" shouldn't even be discussed" & I have to partially agree with him. I'm up for taking a guess at what morph a snake may be for fun but when it comes to sales I tend to be a little more serious. I would be VERY upset buying a snake on what someone's guesses it could be. You should not sell this snake as anything other then what you know to be fact & should offer full disclosure of all info in regards to the animal. In my opinion, selling a snake such as this labeled as anything other then what you know for a fact it is, turns your "impulse buy" into a flip to make a quick buck through deception. I'm not stating these are your intentions or accusing you of any wrong doing or bad intentions but after reading this post believe it could easily be mistaken for that. Congratulations on the find, very pretty snake.

Didn't mean to offend anyone... like I said I am not a boa person and I can admit I know very little haha. I ended up finding the person who sold him to the pet store and he said it is a T+ CA male.

I wasn't offended & didn't mean to sound as if I was trying to throw you under the bus or call you out. I'm far from the most knowledgeable person on this site & actually I'm more of a boa guy then a ball python guy so maybe we could learn from each other. I was just stating any animal (boa or ball) shouldn't be labeled something without it being a solid fact or it would be unfair to the buyer. It's awesome to hear you were able to trace it back & figure out the morph. It really is a pretty snake & great find.

I was going to try to convert you to boas with a joke here you keeping him a while so you could experience a snake with personality but I still have some love for first kind of snake I ever owned, I'm sure I'd get a beaten from the ball python guys, lol.

Best of luck:thumbsup:

I would love to keep him since he's such a lovely snake to own.... no troubles at all. I've had a couple normal red tails as pets before but space always becomes a problem and I have to end up selling them. I love boas and pretty much all herps but ball pythons are my babies =] Who knows, maybe I'll end up keeping him and finding a girlfriend. I honestly don't even know what a T+ albino is so I suppose I should start studying boa stuff!
