In short, DON'T! Email notices are to ONLY alert you of a reply to your private message or your ad on this site. Replying to the email just wastes your time as it goes NOWHERE, and probably pisses off the person you thought you replied to when they think you just ignored them. So instead of complaining to me about your messages not being replied to from this site via email, please READ that email notice that plainly states what you need to do in order to reply to who you are trying to converse with.

Yeah, I know. They are a pain in the butt. But they pay the bills to keep my server running. Just a fact of life, I am afraid.

Want to get rid of them? Simple. Just become a Contributor level member or above and they will be gone. -> Please click HERE."

Is that too much for me to ask of you to keep this site running? Well, sorry about that. I too wish I could get everything for free. But alas.....

    =====================

Google Adsense ad revenue for December, 2025 was just $30 over the cost of the lease for the server running this site. So, in effect, the money providing the incentive for me to continue running this site is coming SOLELY from the paid memberships and sponsorships here. Which honestly ain't much....

Wow, paleoartist. That's a job I've never heard of. I'd love to see some of your work.

Sorry about the delay in responding. Like a paleontologist is one who studies prehistoric life, a paleoartist illustrates prehistoric life. I hope this works. Here is a previous thread I did that shows some of my pieces.

I'm a full time student in microbiology and am beginning my research project in a bacteriral disease in shrimp

I work for the Air Force in both the civilian and military sides of the house. I'm employed by a CSAR unit, and maintain HC-130P/N Combat Shadow and HH-60G Pave Hawk electrical & environmental systems. It's a great experience to stand on top of an aircraft, look east and see the Atlantic, then look west at the Banana River.

On the side, I'm preparing for a gig as an Auxiliary Law Enforcement Officer. It's an unpaid position and the hours are more or less at my leisure, but I'm looking forward to it as being a valuable life experience.

Just beware of the 5 year rule, there. 5 years and Melbourne owns your soul; if you aren't out by then, you never will be. I got out just in time (I went to FIT), but I know quite a few victims of the 5 year rule. I know one who graduated FIT in 1982 and is *still* there.

Don't have a job know. But this summer I might be working at Cinema zoo which is a place that does things for commercials, movies and tv shows with animals. I might be one of the people doing the junior zoo keeping course even though I'm young enough to take the course.

According to my education I am a Histotechnologist. That is a person who works under a Pathologist to process tissues and put them on glass slides, and stain them so the Pathologist can make a diagnosis. This can be human or veterinary and is done for both the living and the dead. I have worked in this field in hospitals and in an animal research facility.

However, I do not play well with others.

According to my drivers license I am a commercial driver. I haul mail from a distribution center to small post offices. Yes, I am a truck driver. The post office is a great place or those of us who don't play well with others as NO ONE there does.

Im a stay home mom and its the hardest work with the longest hours but the most fulfilling thing I could do. We also breed a few reptiles but we call that fun not work lol

I know I'm coming in late on thispost, but thought I'd add my info anyway. I'm a vet tech, and lucky enough that I've been trained on the job. I've worked with animals my whole life (I grew up showing cats) and started out as a kennel attendant, and worked my way up. I currently work at a great animal hospital that gets tons of referrals for orthopedic surgeries, laser surgeries, ultrasounds, endoscopy, etc. It's a lot of fun to work with a vet who is not only willing to invest in new technology, but takes the time to learn how to use it. We use the laser and ultrasound almost every day, and the endoscope a couple times a week. We get a very interesting variety of cases, and because so many of them are referrals, they are clients who are willing to spend the extra time and money to do what's best for the animal.

Well.....my "real job" is kind of hard to explain...I work for one of the world's largest distributors of maintenance and repair goods. I'm contracted out at a Cummins Engine owned plant, and I mostly sit on my butt in front of a computer in my office, keeping track of, ordering, and issuing out items for plant maintenance.

I also have a small hobby farm on 6 acres, with mini and "real" horses, ducks, chickens, peafowl, pigeons, and the like. AND, I do small animal rescue. AND.....I have a small but ever growing corn snake collection, and thanks to the fine folks at Top Shelf Exotics, next week I will have my first pair of Ball Pythons.....I am SO excited.

well... i guess i am coming in on the tail-end of this thing but i thought i would add my little story too...

I am currently a Full time college student (majoring in Forensic Science)... and in addition, I work part time as a switchboard operator/sec. Basically I have the best job in the world... sitting infront of a computer all day and talking on the phone. Who wouldn't enjoy that...

I also have a degree in Animal Health Technology and In my spare time I have a small kennel where i raise Shih-tzu's and Min-Pin's and just this year i have aquired a small collection of snakes (corns & kings ) which i truly love.... I once heard the phrase *Herps are not a hobby they are an addiction!* NOTHING COULD BE TRUE'R!!! *Big Thanks to LokiHerps and to Steven @ xoticreptiles* for my new corns being delivered next week.... I can't wait!

I will post photos of my gang soon...

:wavey: Have a Nice Day!!!
