    In short, DON'T! Email notices are to ONLY alert you of a reply to your private message or your ad on this site. Replying to the email just wastes your time as it goes NOWHERE, and probably pisses off the person you thought you replied to when they think you just ignored them. So instead of complaining to me about your messages not being replied to from this site via email, please READ that email notice that plainly states what you need to do in order to reply to who you are trying to converse with.

    Yeah, I know. They are a pain in the butt. But they pay the bills to keep my server running. Just a fact of life, I am afraid.

    Want to get rid of them? Simple. Just become a Contributor level member or above and they will be gone. -> Please click HERE."

    Is that too much for me to ask of you to keep this site running? Well, sorry about that. I too wish I could get everything for free. But alas.....

    =====================

    Google Adsense ad revenue for December, 2025 was just $30 over the cost of the lease for the server running this site. So, in effect, the money providing the incentive for me to continue running this site is coming SOLELY from the paid memberships and sponsorships here. Which honestly ain't much....

What morph is this?

I just received this leopard gecko from a home that wasn't taking care of him. They had him in a 5.5 gallon with a heat rock. He is now in a 10 gallon with an undertank heater. My question is what morph is he? He looks alot like the rainwater albinos. I am new to leopard geckos, but I have read several caresheets. I am feeding him 4 mealworms/day. Should I feed anymore than that? I keep D. leucomelas 3.2.1 and D. imitator 0.0.2 poison dart frogs and I also have a western hognose, so I am not really new to reptiles/amphibians.

I'm not the most experienced with albino morphs, so no help on a definite ID there... but as far as the feeding goes I'd let him eat as many mealies as he wants every other day. And nice job getting rid of the hot rock *shudders*

Good luck with him.... so far he's looking good.

He really reminds me of my rainwaters. But there is a lot of overlap between rainwaters and trempers so test breeding is probably the only way to know for sure. Do you know where his original owners got him? Petco only sells trempers and I've also never seen anything but trempers at Petsmart.

Id say tremper too except for the fact i cant see any paterning in him?Maybe its just the pic.Havent seen many rainwaters so thats a possibility too.

Oh and I give them a dish of mealies at all times so they can vary their intake on their own and each as much as they want when they want. Also dust your mealies with calcium and vitamins.

I agree that a dish of fresh mealies at all times is not a bad idea... but there can be one problem with it. The feeders are only as nutritious for the most part as the meal in thier gut... if they are left in the feeding bowl for too long they will "poop" out all of their last meal. I guess this could be avoided by leaving some food along with a small water source in the feed bowl. Basically all I'm trying to say is if you decide to leave a dish of mealies at all times don't forget about the importance of keeping them gutloaded. Just something to think about.

Not true! I SWEAR I saw a bell at Petco not long ago!

That big broad head suggests tremper albino to me! But could go rainwater. Ahhh I think im going Tremper...lol

You can solve the gutload problem with the mealies by just putting fresh in everyday
Try and guage how many he eats per night (start out with 10 to 20 worms) and then you can add that number into a clean dish and have fresh for him everyday
:hehe: :hehe:

I dont knwo all the Las Vegas i have come across seem to have a head configuration just a tad different then Trempers. I mean by no way is that a method to tell them apart, but sometime it helps. i would still go Tremper considering how wide spread they are.
