    In short, DON'T! Email notices are to ONLY alert you of a reply to your private message or your ad on this site. Replying to the email just wastes your time as it goes NOWHERE, and probably pisses off the person you thought you replied to when they think you just ignored them. So instead of complaining to me about your messages not being replied to from this site via email, please READ that email notice that plainly states what you need to do in order to reply to who you are trying to converse with.

    Yeah, I know. They are a pain in the butt. But they pay the bills to keep my server running. Just a fact of life, I am afraid.

    Want to get rid of them? Simple. Just become a Contributor level member or above and they will be gone. -> Please click HERE."

    Is that too much for me to ask of you to keep this site running? Well, sorry about that. I too wish I could get everything for free. But alas.....

    =====================

    Google Adsense ad revenue for December, 2025 was just $30 over the cost of the lease for the server running this site. So, in effect, the money providing the incentive for me to continue running this site is coming SOLELY from the paid memberships and sponsorships here. Which honestly ain't much....

what rack systems do you use?

I use a Freedom Breeder cb-70 10 stack, a ARS 3- wide cb-70 with the top three layers adapted to there new four wide setup, i cant remember the # they use. The 4-wide layers have the hides and water bowl holders built in, i put some problem feeders into those and got em feedin and switched to rats in a couple weeks. I also have the ars 5 wide baby rack. I will only be buying ARS from now on QUality is all i have to say, these things are gona last for life. As far as the ventilation the ARS has fixed ventilation on all the models I have. The Freedom Breeder on the other hand has interchangable top copvers from 25 to 100% ventilation. And the FB is still a Quality rack that should last forever but the ars just seems better in my eyes(all metal except tubs). Both have caster bases and tub levels available, and you can adapt differnt size tub levels together which is nice. Hope that helps

yeah i am just trying to figure out what to invest in.animal plastics are light and easy to manage..on the other hand fb has wheels and would maxiumize my space by getting cb 70 30 hole

AP has wheels as well. I would suggest contacting Ali at AP and requesting a quote if you have something specific in mind. I have a stupid slopped wall in my reptile room which requires me to have shorter racks on it, AP was more then willing to make me racks with custom bin rows on it. :yesnod:

I use RBI currently. I own three random ( now ) no namers that are not THAT solidly built, but get the job done. I plan on some AP stuff in my future though. Im glad RBI gave the option for 11" back heat, because i prefer it over belly heat.

Crappy pics sorry

I've had the plastic racks and they work well but I didn't like the dust they collected and always found myself having to constantly wipe the racks.

I use ARS racks now and couldn't be happier.

do u need to have a heated room with fb or ars?or can they be used with the vent covers to keep up heat?

steve that was the other problem i am having is dust..i am in black racks and have to wipe them out every couple of days

I use Cserpents racks and they are sweet.. I'll definitely be buying more in the future.

I always heated the rooms even with the plastic racks.

My plastic racks were black and after wiping them clean they would collect dirt within no time and look dirty, maybe white racks would be a better choice if using plastics?

i dont know.i think we are damn if we do,and damn if we dont steve'o..hahahaa.see with the racks i am running i dont have to heat my room even in the winter its pretty good..of course i live in california where it doent get that cold in winter.
