    In short, DON'T! Email notices are to ONLY alert you of a reply to your private message or your ad on this site. Replying to the email just wastes your time as it goes NOWHERE, and probably pisses off the person you thought you replied to when they think you just ignored them. So instead of complaining to me about your messages not being replied to from this site via email, please READ that email notice that plainly states what you need to do in order to reply to who you are trying to converse with.

What to buy for $5000

I have a friend who is wanting to "invest" $5000 on 2-3 breeder sized females and 1 breeder ready male. I would be the one housing and breeding the snakes. What are your suggestions on what would return his investment back sooner than later?

I agree about the sunset. Also, I think there's still a ton to be done with tri-stripe and it's going to be hot. $5000 would get you a pair of tri-stripes with another gene in there. Basically, the best investment is in recessive pattern morphs (think the next clown). That's my opinion anyway.
 
Puzzle, sunset, tri stripes. You can also get into confusion, acid, fusion, cryptic.
Really just pick what you like!!!

What do you envision? what can you create that is going to stand out on its own? A lot of people produce ball pythons!!!

be mindful that if your looking at it in a stance for financial gain , you may find yourself behind ... Especially if your only looking to house only 3-4 snakes.

If your looking to “invest” then think of a long term gain , chances are even if you wanted to buy into some of these projects you’ll be looking at a ton of hatchlings , or juveniles that still would need the couple of years wait to reproduce anyways.

As a sum, My belief is that Ball Python are a market you have to catch on to things early or your already behind on the dollar, so don't run in to it expecting to buy money printers .
But dont let that deter you, there is still a lot of things out there that have been long lost in the ball python world, do your best to try and find them. New genes aren't always where the money is! Ask Kobylka .
