In short, DON'T! Email notices are to ONLY alert you of a reply to your private message or your ad on this site. Replying to the email just wastes your time as it goes NOWHERE, and probably pisses off the person you thought you replied to when they think you just ignored them. So instead of complaining to me about your messages not being replied to from this site via email, please READ that email notice that plainly states what you need to do in order to reply to who you are trying to converse with.

Yeah, I know. They are a pain in the butt. But they pay the bills to keep my server running. Just a fact of life, I am afraid.

Want to get rid of them? Simple. Just become a Contributor level member or above and they will be gone. -> Please click HERE."

Is that too much for me to ask of you to keep this site running? Well, sorry about that. I too wish I could get everything for free. But alas.....

    =====================

Google Adsense ad revenue for December, 2025 was just $30 over the cost of the lease for the server running this site. So, in effect, the money providing the incentive for me to continue running this site is coming SOLELY from the paid memberships and sponsorships here. Which honestly ain't much....

What would you say to a Proven Morphs Website?

I am just talking out loud here but have a thought. (hush up...it happens sometimes..!... no smoke, nothing)

Would you like a website where you can go and find information on snake morphs? I mean somewhere you can go and find pretty much all the basic and semi-advanced information on several of the more popular species?

Somewhere you could go to click on Columbian Boas, Burmese Pythons, Reticulated Python, etc etc...and find a list of different morphs and how they were achieved, would you use it? When you click on a final morph you end up with:

Super Jungle Cheesepuff

Sibling of Jungle Cheesepuff and Orange Calico

The Super Jungle Cheesepuff was first produced by Donald Trump in 1998. This morph is characterized by the distinct orange sides, the gray eyes, clean white belly, and a strong black stripe down both sides of the head starting at the corner of the mouth.

click here to go to Donald Trump Reptiles' website

Would that be feasible (sp?)? I know there are several sites out there that either touch on the subject or have certain lineage, but what about something with everything together?

Would you add your input to it? If you have bred before and are into morphs, would you contribute?

Just a thought I figured I'd throw out there. I have the basics down already and am giving it some consideration for informational purposes.

Thanks for you input!

I think that would be a neat idea. Would help some of the potential victims, who fall for ads of possible hets of something that isn't "hetable"?? or hasn't been proven yet. Or like the person who was pointed out to be advertising 75% or some weird percentage het, because the parents were het, and he stated "if one of your parents is white and one is black, you have that in you even if you don't look like it" or something. one of the funniest things I've ever read. Person obviously has no clue about gene/allele transfer.
Course, some may say that if you don't take the time to research what you are buying, then it is your own fault (a fool and his money......theory).

I think it would be neat just to be able to see what all the morphs are, and what the genetic makeup, history, and offspring potential is. That stuff can still confuse the heck out of me, sometimes. It would be quite the undertaking though. There use to be site about corns where you could punch in the cultivars you had and what would be produced (potential % wise) it didn't give history/genetic makeup/ or any other in depth info, but it was still pretty neat.

John, I think you just invented a new word . . . hetable.

Mr. Jungle Mist:
Oh yes I think a website of the different snake morphs would be excellent and so very helpful. That along with some background information such as where the first morph showed up, WC, etc. would be fascinating to read.

Heck I'd like to see a site with all of the different color morphs of peachfaced lovebirds. I've been working on this for about two years and am getting a lot better but information is so scattered. It's confusing as heck. I still can't tell you what color the babies will be from a violet to a violet pairing however I'm about to find out (eggs due to hatch soon). Some people tell me all grey birds, some people say all violets, we'll see.

There is a site of existing python morphs (balls, burms, retics, bloods, carpets, etc). I was sent a link a year or two ago. I bet if you googled it you would hit it. There are sites with all the corns, boas, balls, burms, bloods, etc, just in different places. As far as one site for all, you would just have to do the leg work and be willing to update constantly.
