    In short, DON'T! Email notices are to ONLY alert you of a reply to your private message or your ad on this site. Replying to the email just wastes your time as it goes NOWHERE, and probably pisses off the person you thought you replied to when they think you just ignored them. So instead of complaining to me about your messages not being replied to from this site via email, please READ that email notice that plainly states what you need to do in order to reply to who you are trying to converse with.

    Yeah, I know. They are a pain in the butt. But they pay the bills to keep my server running. Just a fact of life, I am afraid.

    Want to get rid of them? Simple. Just become a Contributor level member or above and they will be gone. -> Please click HERE."

    Is that too much for me to ask of you to keep this site running? Well, sorry about that. I too wish I could get everything for free. But alas.....

    =====================

    Google Adsense ad revenue for December, 2025 was just $30 over the cost of the lease for the server running this site. So, in effect, the money providing the incentive for me to continue running this site is coming SOLELY from the paid memberships and sponsorships here. Which honestly ain't much....

Whats the best food to give to a juvie so i can get it big fast ?wax worms?mealworms?crickets?roaches?thanks jeff

The only way that i have found is regular feedings. I feed my babies 5 - 8 crickets everyday, and they grow pretty fast.

Ok, there is no reason to feed juvenile leos waxworms. Crickets and/or mealworms are fine, just make sure they are properly gutloaded and that you supplement properly. Feed as much as they will eat and they will grow.

I don't think 'power-feeding' in order to get a gecko to grow fast is a good idea. Feed them normally with good nutritious food and let them grow naturally.

My babies take some time to warm up to roaches. Juvies take them a bit better and adults dive for them (some will just not eat them). I only use waxies for adults around breeding time or after breeding time tohelp with weight gain. I don't bother with supers anymore after one bit me or pinched...not sure what it did but it hurt like heck....I don't use crickets at all anymore. Roaches and mealies make up my staple diet with waxies and silk worms on occaision.
Bigges thing is to make sure they are being supplemented correctly and gut load!!!!!
I agree with everyone else, don't try to stuff your Leo to make it grow faster. A good diet, good environment, and low stress will have him getting huge in no time.

Hi Jeff
I would just leave meal worms, water and a small lid with calcium supplement available in their enclosure. When they are hungry, they will eat :eatsmiley . I wouldn't feed waxworms to sub-adults. They will grow pretty quickly. Try offering a super worm now and again. Kelli talked me into trying them with my leopard geckos and they seem to do well with them (thanks Kelli!).

OK...one more questin....with the calcium...should u put calcium with d3 in their or calcium with out d3?thanks jeff
