In short, DON'T! Email notices are to ONLY alert you of a reply to your private message or your ad on this site. Replying to the email just wastes your time as it goes NOWHERE, and probably pisses off the person you thought you replied to when they think you just ignored them. So instead of complaining to me about your messages not being replied to from this site via email, please READ that email notice that plainly states what you need to do in order to reply to who you are trying to converse with.

Yeah, I know. They are a pain in the butt. But they pay the bills to keep my server running. Just a fact of life, I am afraid.

Want to get rid of them? Simple. Just become a Contributor level member or above and they will be gone. -> Please click HERE."

Is that too much for me to ask of you to keep this site running? Well, sorry about that. I too wish I could get everything for free. But alas.....

    =====================

Google Adsense ad revenue for December, 2025 was just $30 over the cost of the lease for the server running this site. So, in effect, the money providing the incentive for me to continue running this site is coming SOLELY from the paid memberships and sponsorships here. Which honestly ain't much....

Whats the most Over Rated morph?

I wouldn't say any morph is over rated, every single one out there has awesome combos. You name a morph that doesn't have any cool combos and we'll talk but until then I can name one cool morph from every gene:

granite x enchi

pastel g-stripe axanthic
super OD with anything lol
champagne butter ghost
etc

The other aspect that people are complaining about with axanthics fading out, almost every morph out there looks very dull as an adult compared to the baby version. Even one of the brightest morphs out there, the desert looks normal as an adult that's just the name of the game, we do it for the look of the babies. Yes some look awesome like the super stripe and many others even into adulthood but realistically they all get dull until you start combo'ing them.

I wouldn't call it "cool";););)

I understand where you are going Dustin, every morph does have it's place. I guess my Granite answer would be best for a "What morph could you best live without?"

I happen to love the granite gene. If you saw my vanilla granite, im sure you could appreciate what the gene can bring to morphs. I have a few granite dinkers im working with to prove genetic. Black backs and reduced patterns are also favorites of mine. 90% of my snakes either have graniting, black backs, reduced patterns or a combination of them.

I wouldn't say any gene is unnecessary or unneeded. They each bring their own thing to the morphs and make them better.

I have one the best looking granite out there, its a brian taylor line and i bred it to 2 of my granite females and cant wait to see if i hit a super.

Let's see these Granites :) I'm sure they are nice, I just prefer very clean animals. Regardless of the morph or combo, I like it clean.

I know there are some Granite lines out there that won't necessarily "dirty" things up but the cast majority seem to speckle an otherwise clean pattern.

Your going to scratch it for just those lol check these out :p

My oppinion on granite is that its an over used term and realistically you can't have a dominant and codom genes that are both called granite. I think too many morphs are classified as such when they could be their own morph.
Awesome Dustin:thumbsup:

The BPGraniteYB is very similar to a BPYB. I like it without the Granite more.

The EnchiGranite is definitely unique. I like that one alot, but again...I am a NUT about my Enchi's being clean. Enchi's allow pattern and clean alot of other morphs up so I just couldn't imagine ever using it.

Lastly, that Mojave. That is the Mojave I was talking about at the beginning of this thread. I like that Mojo ALOT! I personally would still be afraid of what it might do when mixed with other stuff.

Of course this is ALL just my opinion. I said it in another thread but I will say it again, to each their own. This is exactly the reason we will continue to make amazing combos. I might not like Granite, but I love looking at all the animals people who do like Granite produce.

This is a good topic.

Of course like everyone else I guess I don't think it is overrated, just not my type. :D

lol yeah I hear that, everyone has their own type. Personally I'm not a spider/woma fan. I think it may be the best morph for the buck as far as you get the coolest looking morph for the least amount of money but I don't like how it drowns out most of the other morphs. I know its not over-rated, its just not my thing kinda like granite for you.

Actually...I hear you on the Spider 110%.

We wouldn't be where we are today without it, but I know exactly what you mean.

I appreciate the friendly discussion.

I was worried you might freak out and hate me because Granite is not my thing :rofl::rofl::rofl:

Always nice talking with you Dustin

HAHAHAHA NO WAY, I could never hate anyone on here for having an opinion. I usually like to play devils advocate anyway and see the opposing argument LOL. Always a pleasure :)

I'm not a fan of champagnes, either. By that, I mean the single champagne, not the combos.

I used to wonder why people like enchis, too. Then I got one as part of a group purchase. Now I have to say, I REALLY wonder why people like them.. They're way overrated! lol

If you dont like what champs do, google champagne pastel calico. Enuff said!

Its nice but i like calicos better when combined with color mutations. Pastel calico, hypo calico, cinny calico, lesser calico, fire calico.

I would love to see a super OD calico, super pastel calico, and super vanilla calico.

i'm working on pastel calico, cinnamon calico, pewter calico, savannah calico, in 2 seasons, maybe even a super mojo pewter or savannah, but wont really be able to tell with that white.

Thats cool, im working on pastel calicos and lesser calicos myself. I also think that a lavender calico or toffee calico would be hot.
