    In short, DON'T! Email notices are to ONLY alert you of a reply to your private message or your ad on this site. Replying to the email just wastes your time as it goes NOWHERE, and probably pisses off the person you thought you replied to when they think you just ignored them. So instead of complaining to me about your messages not being replied to from this site via email, please READ that email notice that plainly states what you need to do in order to reply to who you are trying to converse with.

    Yeah, I know. They are a pain in the butt. But they pay the bills to keep my server running. Just a fact of life, I am afraid.

    Want to get rid of them? Simple. Just become a Contributor level member or above and they will be gone. -> Please click HERE."

    Is that too much for me to ask of you to keep this site running? Well, sorry about that. I too wish I could get everything for free. But alas.....

    =====================

    Google Adsense ad revenue for December, 2025 was just $30 over the cost of the lease for the server running this site. So, in effect, the money providing the incentive for me to continue running this site is coming SOLELY from the paid memberships and sponsorships here. Which honestly ain't much....

Whats the most Over Rated morph?

Spider. Who cares what it looks like if it spins like a top and can't right itself without extreme effort. Bless it's little retarded heart.

On second thought how about desert? Apparently females cannot lay unless the temps are "just so" and there is a total planetary alignment. I think they are very pretty, but I think I would rather have a normal than a desert of either sex.

My least favorite has to be the super cinnamon.

I really like the cinnamon gene, both as a single gene animal and in combos, but to me the super form looks like a turd with eyes.

LMFAO!!!! :thumbsup::rofl::rofl:

I never thought of the super cinny like that, lolz. But you're totally correct.

I personally am not a fan of the Desert and Caramel lines, issues with females not worth it to try and make combos then get stuck with a female that there is little faith in them reproducing.

I think the Orange Dream is over rated because adults look like normals and the pastel orange dream looks like a regular pastel. I have seen some pastel lines that look better than the orange dream pastel.

I completely agree. I'm really not impressed with the combos either. Even the Supers just look like a nice Pastel. I don't know, they just don't "grab" me at all. I think we're so starved for new stuff we're just really reaching now. Thank god for the Sunset, eh?

I feel the same way about Enchis and Champagnes as I do about ODs. But the absolute most useless, hideous morph of all that's rancid all by itself but then actually a thousand times worse in combos is, was and always will be, Pieds.

Orange Dreams? Overrated? I think I just choked on my cereal. Talk about different tastes.

The most UNDER-rated morph to me is the Orange Dream. I've seen some of the nicest collections in the world, seen some very impressive snakes, but the snakes that really blow me away are the orange dream stuff.

Here is a pic of a friend's orange dream fire yellow belly. This snake was next to some other incredible mutations, but this took the cake for me. I snapped a iPhone pic knowing my phone doesn't capture orange, and probably make it look bad... guess I was wrong.

I've never really liked pieds, either, and I don't like most of the combos....I did, however, fall in love with the mojave pied. That resulted in me getting pieds to work on making that particular combo. It took a long time to find pieds that I could stand to look at for long enough to do this; and I have to admit that I now like mine (just mine, though, lol)

Caramel females, to my knowledge, don't have issues with laying viable clutches. Instead, the issue can be, with any caramel clutch, that the babies kink. I've seen, though, that kinking issues don't arise nearly as often with lower incubation temps than with the standard 89-90 deg. temps.

Google: caramel fertility problems...there were multiple discussions, starting a couple of years ago, about high slug rates and small clutches.
I don't keep caramels, so I haven't kept up with the topic.

I agree with Chris...just because they aren't flashy by them selves doesn't make them overrated. The possibilities are endless. I guess it's to each their own.

That is definitely, by all means, a very attractive snake. But for having 4 genes and not looking much different than a really nice Pastel...I just don't share in the enthusiasm.

Just 3 genes. Orange dream + fire + yellowbelly. Anyways, thats why we have 10000 mutations. Lots to choose from!

As for my own overrated morphs, I really don't like champagnes or genetic stripes very much. Not sure if they are "overrated" but I just don't care for them as much. Some champagne combos are awesome tho.

I really think this is just personal preference & choice. I don't think any are overrated. Same goes with underrated. From Normals to Corals they are all hot looking in their own way.
Just my 2 cents
Ted

That pic of the Orange Dream Fire Yellow belly just proven my point, go look at Roussis Reptiles Zebra pastel and thats a one gene animal looks better then this 3gene dream in the thread.

Zebra pastels don't even come close to being as nice as that OD firebelly :shrug01:

7 years after it was produced how many have you seen on the market?
And after 7 years why have we not seen any further combo's with the zebra pastel.
It's a nice looking pastel, but common Ernest, it's not even in the same ball park as that triple gene snake...

What do you mean not in the same ball park? were talking about ball pythons right? so its the same ball park and i bet plenty of people will agree with me if they see the zebra pastel. The point that you said about not seeing combos is not a good arguement, if steve from roussis reptiles produced a fire x yellow belly x zebra pastel im sure it would look better then this Od x YB x fire. Once again not saying the OD is a bad morph because its nice and does some nice stuff but it shouldnt be $1,800 market price. That price is more then a leopard and leopards actually do something different to other morphs, have you seen the ocelot? very nice animal.
