In short, DON'T! Email notices are to ONLY alert you of a reply to your private message or your ad on this site. Replying to the email just wastes your time as it goes NOWHERE, and probably pisses off the person you thought you replied to when they think you just ignored them. So instead of complaining to me about your messages not being replied to from this site via email, please READ that email notice that plainly states what you need to do in order to reply to who you are trying to converse with.

Yeah, I know. They are a pain in the butt. But they pay the bills to keep my server running. Just a fact of life, I am afraid.

Want to get rid of them? Simple. Just become a Contributor level member or above and they will be gone. -> Please click HERE."

Is that too much for me to ask of you to keep this site running? Well, sorry about that. I too wish I could get everything for free. But alas.....

    =====================

Google Adsense ad revenue for December, 2025 was just $30 over the cost of the lease for the server running this site. So, in effect, the money providing the incentive for me to continue running this site is coming SOLELY from the paid memberships and sponsorships here. Which honestly ain't much....

What's the most y'all have ever paid for a gecko?

Wow look at this message on the fridge!!!!

You probably know this, but the colors don't darken if they have a hot spot of 87-90 degrees.
in 1999 that wasnt known... it wasnt even told that trempers are or were brown... they were sold as nice bright white glowing pretty animals and then when the unsuspecting customer bought them soon would discover their pretty geckos would soon turn turd brown for no apparant reason..... and the lack of copperation from ron didnt help, because he knew yet did not disclose this to his customers

: ) lol love the billboard ...no fair thats "hypo" lol

i did mean a plain bell ... hey i dont like plain trempers either especially brown ones ......you guys :) have twisted my comments around here a bit lol .....its ok maybe you are just messing with me

Hey wait a minute, that Bell doesn't have spots! Hmm...

I'm just messin with ya Dan;) ;) ;)

Don't worry, Kelli, next season you'll hatch out much better bells....

its ok maybe you are just messing with me

Dan, absolutely just messing with you! It's just that some of us have a twisted sense of humour!

And I know that most Trempers aren't brown anymore, my point is that give the other 2 strains (RW and Bell) just haven't been worked with as much. It's all in good fun IMO. Sorry the thread got so off topic!:)

ya know chris once i was walking down in the big bend area herping and saw that same phrase written in chalk rock on the side of a road cut LMAO JK

Sorry the thread got so off topic!
back on topic the least i have paid was $0 for a sweet little geckos with a viagra leg.

The least that I have paid for Leos is 0$ for a normal pair from a friend that got me interested in them in the first place. :)
The most is 125.00 for a banana phase from VMS.
I have been reading all the posts in this thread-not a minor feat-LOL_ and I am simply amazed and quite a bit jelous at the amount of money that has been spent for Leos.
I am on an extremely limited budjet-living on a disabilty income and each and every Leo that I have managed to scrimp and save for is a treasure.
I hope to have some nice babies next year and then my new problem wil be just how to part with any of them
This is my latest aquisition-I traded a citrus bearded dragon baby for her and I am very proud of her even tho she isn't nealy as fancy as the more expensive tangs.
Her name is Preya and I got her from Jeff at LCReptiles
I am thrilled to have her :D

thats ok!

hey ...youll be able to add , to what u have now w/the babies they ll make ...always more fun ! the "top-morphs" will just get you in debt lol and they are great animals no matter what the color/pattern anywayz ....;)

Sandra, she's beautiful! I can relate. I have over 20 geckos, but I enjoy each and every one of them for their individual quirks. I do encourage you to try breeding if the idea appeals to you, because I think you will enjoy the experience. You'll love every step from pampering the gravid mom to enduring the hatchlings screaming at you, to even watching the babies grow up having similar personalities to their parents. Provided you have the room, you can always keep your babies instead of selling them. Plus, with that new tang from Jeff, you're bound to end up with some nice geckos. :)

Thank You Guys-I am very pleased with her and I am in the midst of another trade for a tang male for Preya...Looks like when it comes to acquiring Leos- When there is a will- there is a way!!
LOL
Sandy
