    Google Adsense ad revenue for December, 2025 was just $30 over the cost of the lease for the server running this site. So, in effect, the money providing the incentive for me to continue running this site is coming SOLELY from the paid memberships and sponsorships here. Which honestly ain't much....

I just want to know what James is doing to make thing right with everyone. I along with Mike Conley, lost my web site with his server loss. Which like mike,I payed with herps, and money. I do not even know if I still have my domain name. Even though I am out of breeding herps right now, I would still like to have my web site that I payed for.
I like some of you was fooled in believing that James was a stand up guy.
Just want to know if he is making things right with anyone, and whats up with Neils investigation, and all the donations?

JAMES...if you're reading this....PLEASE put up a post of EXACTLY who donated their hard-earned money to the "FaunaFund", and EXACTLY how much EACH OF THEM donated!! I would suggest you do it QUICKLY before we send out a HANGING PARTY!! James, this is REALLY starting to get ridiculous!! You SAY you're not scamming anyone, but all you do is TALK! I WANT TO SEE SOME ACTION!! NOW!! You've got my phone number AND email addy....there is NO EXCUSE FOR THIS LACK of professionalism....Neil
 
I agree Neil, James you need to give a complete list of the donations AND WHO DONATED. Your lack of comunication is very UNPROFESSIONAL!
Also, you gave Mike Conley a chance to move his web site before your problems, But did I receive any phone call, or e-mail about my web site (no). I would have liked to at least print a couple pictures of it!
James, you need to fess up some answers Here!

Come on James! I put a lot of my time in answering all of your questions, and giving you herp advice. And you leave me, and other people with no communication as to what is going on. All you need to do is let people know what is happening with the money, and reptiles that they are giving you for a service! What is going on with all of the money that people donated to Neils unfortunate problem?  I am sure some donation figures, and where it went, is something you can give us ALL!

Hey Rick,

James never warned me to copy my file. Bobby Pruitt at LBC reptiles thought of it and emailed James to get my password and user name. I never had them and he would not answer phone calls or emails because he owed me money plus the website. A big thanks goes out to Bobby. James also ripped Bobby and another buddy Ty Young off big time. I'm not made of money and 300-400.00 hurts. But at least its not 3000-4000.00. Although I did send my nicest babies to him in trust. He told me he really wanted to get into Leachianus so I helped him. A month later he traded them to another breeder whom I emailed right away and told that I still had not been paid for the animals he received.Anyway good luck with your site, he should have a copy of it on his hard drive you can have him email it to you.

I also sent him a lot of my breeder herps for him to set up a breeding program, and next thing you know he was trading everything to other people. I sent him some of my nicest leopards, only to find them in the trade classifieds on kingsnake. I heard all about the Bobby pruitt, and Ty young transaction Too.
I did not want it to come to this, but James is ripping a lot of people off here! Whether he got tired of everything or not, its just not the way to treat people.

I just sent another email to James just this morning.  I'm getting irritated by his lack of communication on this issue.  I am planning on starting a new thread and solicit info from people whom have paid money to James Thornton for ANY reason associated with this site to try to get a full accounting with or without his help.
 
Rich...You know me...I'm ALL for fun and games, but...I really think it's time to take the kid-gloves OFF! Starting that thread of yours to find out what's been donated, or paid, to Fauna, is a good idea! After that information is in place and we have a general accounting....we should TAKE HIM TO COURT!! PERIOD!! A small-claims action originating with you (or class action, if that's feasible) should be started! We've given James enough time to do the right thing...IT DIDN'T WORK!! Call Perry Mason in the morning, and let's get this thing under way!! ....Neil

I am not trying to dig up old dirt or to cause hard feelings, I just was wondering what caused this whole thing?? I am fairly new to the board here, I have only been a member since the begining of the month.  I don't know why everyone gave the money to James to begin with, I was wondering what was it for?  

Also, for any of you who paid to get a website with him, if it is your own domain (www.whatever.com) then you can go to www.netsol.com  and click on the link at the top that says WHOIS .  Here you can type the domain name in, and see who it legally belongs to.  If it is yours, and not James, you can get it switched to a new server.  I am not trying to make anything off of this, I am just sick of seeing people screwed.  You can't replace the money/animals and time invested with James and the websites, but you can make new ones.  You can keep your domain if it is registered in your name.  If it is in James' name, there isn't too much you can do.  The process for switching the server information can be tedious if you don't know what your doing... if the site comes back in your name, and you would like help switching to a new server (whichever you want) email me, I'll help at NO charge PERIOD.  this sux that he ripped you all off.

Steven,   I dont have to much time at the moment to type but i'll make it quick.  It all began with a terrible break in at Neil Gubitz store The Snake Pit in Tampa Fl.  His store was literally raped, many animals were stolen, and worse animals were severly mistreated that were left dead or dying at his store for the poor guy to have to walk in on.  I, and the rest of the Herp community was outraged, and justfully so.  Im not positive but an proposal was made, im not sure originally by whom, but a private detective was to be hired in Tampa to investigate and find the ones responsible for the acts.  I and many herpers sympithetic to Neils delema contributed big or small, what they could to help fund the P.I.  Apparently the P.I. wasnt recieving the money promised that was to be accounted for, and managed by James Thorton.  There were rumors of James's daughter having illnesses and he was strapped for cash.  (I truly hope his daughter and family are well)  There were other instances as well as you can gather from Rick Stewards posts, Rick is also is justifibly angry in his  concerns.  It seems as though Mr. Thorton has not been responding to anyones calls, e mails, or posts here on the BOI, unfourtunatly leaving one only to think the worse.  I hope all is well with James and I hope he makes an attempt to right the ones he has wronged, as I believe it's never to late to make retribution.  I spoke with James on the phone and in emails also sending money for advertisments, of which some people believe they didnt get what they paid for due to Mr. Thorton's mishandling of the funds.  I though well of James and hope he will try to redeem himself by doing the right thing and addressing the present situation at hand.  Steve I hope that helps shed some light for you and if I am wrong in the course of events anyone feel free to add of course.                  Michael Beberman
