    In short, DON'T! Email notices are to ONLY alert you of a reply to your private message or your ad on this site. Replying to the email just wastes your time as it goes NOWHERE, and probably pisses off the person you thought you replied to when they think you just ignored them. So instead of complaining to me about your messages not being replied to from this site via email, please READ that email notice that plainly states what you need to do in order to reply to who you are trying to converse with.

does any one know what's going on with reptile auctions? for several months now, whenever someone bids the user name doesn't show. therefore, as a seller, you have no way of reaching the winning bidder.

i have tried to email their so called "webmaster" along with the site's owner howie fluker about these problems. i have sent 3-4 emails to both and nothing is responded to.

just curious to see if anyone knows whats going on. thanks.

That site has been worthless for a number of years.Its mostly used by nigerian scum scammers lately.Of course it has a few legit sellers but i dont know why they waste the time either.If you want something go to a breeder :thumbsup:
 
You know, it makes me REAL uncomfortable seeing a guy named "Larry" having "i_luv_the_webslave" as his member name here...... :rofl:

I'm not too sure how sincere it is, since the response on the profile to "Where did you hear about Faunaclassifieds?" is "suck it"
 
Yeah.... His email address is "[email protected]" so obviously the registration here was merely to try to encourage some discussing about reptileauctions. So probably someone who got banned from here, I would wager. :rolleyes: So far I haven't be given a good reason to delete this thread and the account, however. Of course, that comment about "suck it" makes me feel even more uncomfortable about this guy..... :laugh:

I'm thinking if he got anywhere near 'it' he would be looking at the business end of a .38.

Very odd person, very odd name, but considering some, I do not think he will achieve the 'flake of the year' status.
 
big thanks to all (except joepythons) for staying on topic and keeping the conversation constructive. i must have missed where the topic was about me, my username, email address or putting "suck it" in the place where i heard about fauna. this site appears to be nothing more then a clique-y, gossip, reptile centered version of myspace where the moderators even encourage personal attacks and off-topic conversation.

my goal with this post was to try and see if anyone was having similar experiences with reptileauctions. i wanted to see if anyone was able to reach the site administrator. retpileauctions is the only reptile auction site out there (that i know of) and i've enjoyed using it until recently when technica issues on the site have been preventing usernames from showing when someone submits a bid.

was hoping for some productive insight from the reptile community. obviously this isn't the place for productive insight.

So i am guessing since you like reptile auction you must be one of the ignorant nigerians.I say this because if you had 1 brain cell in your head you would have chosen a REAL user name here:rofl::rofl:.I say ban this clown because he is not worth wasting the web site space on.

Better: Instead of banning him, throw him in the cell with Bubba- fix it so his only access to this site is the Hell forum.

The "real" Larry Kristowiak is a former NBA player and coach. He played and coached in Milwaukee. Doug Martin
