    In short, DON'T! Email notices are to ONLY alert you of a reply to your private message or your ad on this site. Replying to the email just wastes your time as it goes NOWHERE, and probably pisses off the person you thought you replied to when they think you just ignored them. So instead of complaining to me about your messages not being replied to from this site via email, please READ that email notice that plainly states what you need to do in order to reply to who you are trying to converse with.

    Yeah, I know. They are a pain in the butt. But they pay the bills to keep my server running. Just a fact of life, I am afraid.

    Want to get rid of them? Simple. Just become a Contributor level member or above and they will be gone. -> Please click HERE."

    Is that too much for me to ask of you to keep this site running? Well, sorry about that. I too wish I could get everything for free. But alas.....

    =====================

    Google Adsense ad revenue for December, 2025 was just $30 over the cost of the lease for the server running this site. So, in effect, the money providing the incentive for me to continue running this site is coming SOLELY from the paid memberships and sponsorships here. Which honestly ain't much....

When do dragons stop growing? I was thinking they dont but I am curious now cause every one on here has some majorly HUGE dragons compared to the ones over here in good ole indiana! lol :) I have my newby baby girl Scarlett who is a yr old and 15"....BIG girl by weight but not by length, was curoius on if she might grow more since she is just a yr old or if she is doen simce she has reached sexual maturity.. I dont plan to breed her even though she is BEAUTIFUL but I was just curious as to if you guys think she might get any bigger, her mom was 435 or 425 grams ( cant remember what breeder said) and her dad was 500 grams, longer than he was fat ( breeder told me this)....she weighed in at the vet at 295 grams...she was 280 something.. (what breeder told me but I cant seem to rememebr well) any opinions r welcomed!

By about the time dragons reach 1 1/2 yrs they are pretty much done growing. Each dragon is unique though. Some may be done growing sooner, some later.

mike, so what do you think about scralett, is she pretty good size for her age and by what her parents are? Her mother was a yellow bearded dragon and so was her father, I dont know if they was crossed with anything big like GG, CAWLEY, OR CHRIS ALLEN.Mary didnt tell me her parents crosses, only that they both where YELLOW bearded dragons....she told me scarlett was th fattest and shortest of the clutch.

6 of mine are right around the same age and it seems that they quite growing length about this age, but any given time I think they can gain weight and I would think you would want some more weight on her before you breed her. Mine seem to go on eating sprees, a little this week, ten times more the next. Most breeders seem to say atleast 350, I have seen 1 say atleast 300. I'm going by 350 and now that all my girls are there I'm hoping they will make it to 400, they are just now around the 1 year mark. charlie

You can get a set of digital scales at Office Depot for about $40 and is a good investment as weight loss can really be a good sign of something going bad. I weigh mine every weekend with bath time. Its kind of exciting, especially when your getting close to the breeding age/weight.

well I just wish she would get big by weight ( Id love to have me a nice big female just so people could be like " wow! she is huge! " But since she is small by length we have decided not to breed her, I got her as a pet in the first place but her colors r gorgeous thats why I would have liked to have bred her to our male...but oh well I still love her!
