In short, DON'T! Email notices are to ONLY alert you of a reply to your private message or your ad on this site. Replying to the email just wastes your time as it goes NOWHERE, and probably pisses off the person you thought you replied to when they think you just ignored them. So instead of complaining to me about your messages not being replied to from this site via email, please READ that email notice that plainly states what you need to do in order to reply to who you are trying to converse with.

Yeah, I know. They are a pain in the butt. But they pay the bills to keep my server running. Just a fact of life, I am afraid.

Want to get rid of them? Simple. Just become a Contributor level member or above and they will be gone. -> Please click HERE."

Is that too much for me to ask of you to keep this site running? Well, sorry about that. I too wish I could get everything for free. But alas.....

    =====================

Google Adsense ad revenue for December, 2025 was just $30 over the cost of the lease for the server running this site. So, in effect, the money providing the incentive for me to continue running this site is coming SOLELY from the paid memberships and sponsorships here. Which honestly ain't much....

WOW! My first time posting about somebody, instead of defending myself! Too cool!!

I normally shruge off small problems, but lately they have become all to common. Soooo.....

Neal & Misty Cox, [email protected], from Branson West, MO.

I once considered them good people. They purchased snakes from me earlier this year, sending prompt payment. Smooth deal, everbody was happy.
Mid Sept. I worked a trade deal with them involving a snake I had, for some frozen rodents they posessed. I sent the snake to them on 9/16. Rodents were to be shipped in a day or 2 after they located dry ice. Several days passed, and I was told they were now waiting on shipping materials. (They did keep in contact). A few more days passed, and rodents were shipped.
When the box arrived and was opened I discovered bags of rodents, loosely packed in newspaper! No styro, no ice, no cold packs! (What shipping supplies were they waiting for???)  One thing to mention, I am in AZ, and at the time of shipment, temps were 105+!   Needless to say, I received a box of spoiled, stinky, useless rodents.
I notified them shortly after, and recieved a prompt reply saying thy were sorry and that replacements would be sent. I told them that as long as they packed tight in a styro box, ice of any type would not be needed. Well, they said they were waiting on a new shipment of rodents. Soon, they started up with the story of being unable to find dry ice again. Contact became less and less.
Well, here we are, about 4 weeks later, and still no rodents, or contact in the last 2+ weeks. My last email was sent 8 days ago to them requesting my snake back. No reply.
Neal & Misty, ( I know you read the BOI) I ask you this; why avoid me and make excuses? I have been nothing but patient, helpful, and understanding. If there was a problem finacially or such, all you had to do was tell me. Why did you offer replacements if you never intended to follow thru? Remember, I never asked for them, you offered.

This post contains nothing but the facts, which as always, I have in the form of emails. We are only talking a small amount of money here, $75, which means absolutly nothing to me, but it is the principle of the whole ordeal, that makes me bring it to this forum. Integrity of this hobby has been on a downward hill.

Don, I feel your pain living in AZ.  It brings up all types of issues with both shipping and getting shipments.  Don't ya wish they made a cold pack that swapped to a heat pack half way through!

I just got mice a couple days ago and had them sent 2nd day.  They came packed in Pink Panther type insulation sealed in a plastic bag as well as being vaccum packed.  The main thing is to be sure your packing is free of air.  Needless to say these mice were frozen so solid you could have snapped the pink tails off.

There's no reason for a shipment to get to you like that!  If there's anything I can do to help let me know buddy.  Maybe you can tell them to bag the mice up and tape them in insulation like I mentioned.

Good luck!

Thanks Adam, but if you can help on my other ordeal, that will be more than enough. Keep in touch.

Oh, BTW, be a good boy, and try not to pi$$ off or offend the "little minds",   toooo much! <img src="http://www.faunaclassifieds.com/iB_html/non-cgi/emoticons/smile.gif" border="0" valign="absmiddle" alt=':)'>

Thanks partner, I think my last post should pi$$ them off just fine.  I'm a very bad boy I guess.

Have a good one "Dog",
