In short, DON'T! Email notices are to ONLY alert you of a reply to your private message or your ad on this site. Replying to the email just wastes your time as it goes NOWHERE, and probably pisses off the person you thought you replied to when they think you just ignored them. So instead of complaining to me about your messages not being replied to from this site via email, please READ that email notice that plainly states what you need to do in order to reply to who you are trying to converse with.

Yeah, I know. They are a pain in the butt. But they pay the bills to keep my server running. Just a fact of life, I am afraid.

Want to get rid of them? Simple. Just become a Contributor level member or above and they will be gone. -> Please click HERE."

Is that too much for me to ask of you to keep this site running? Well, sorry about that. I too wish I could get everything for free. But alas.....

    =====================

Google Adsense ad revenue for December, 2025 was just $30 over the cost of the lease for the server running this site. So, in effect, the money providing the incentive for me to continue running this site is coming SOLELY from the paid memberships and sponsorships here. Which honestly ain't much....

where is everyone getting their feeders from?

well this question is mainly for the 'breeders' or people that order feeders in bulk amounts.

now that crickets are pretty hard to find, where are you ordering yours from? I have ordered from ghann's for so long and even still order from there even though they do not have larger crickets.

is there any cricket farms out there that are reliable that have a variety of sizes still available to the public at decent prices?

lets face it, even though crickets stink and arent the most best feeder....they are the cheapest and most economical option when feeding A LOT.

also, just for shits and giggles, what is everyones weekly or bi-weekly feeder bill looking like?

Hey John,try coldbloods.com

Cortlin is extremely helpful, they have all sizes and prices are pretty good. I think it's $8.50 per 1,000.

i just went to their site, how do you order from them? is it a call only service or do they have a part to their website that I am not seeing?

thanks

I order from southerncricket.com and their great!!! We pay $11 per 1000. We go through around 1000 a week so we order 2000 at a time. The last order arrived and there were maybe 5 to 10 dead out of the whole 2000 and we got another order today and I swear there didn't look to be any dead!!!(I'm sure there were but not many at all). They still offer their guarantee also, which I don't think some places are doing right now. But I think I'm gonna check out coldbloods.com cause that's the cheapest I've heard of!!!

well I just wanted to say that I made my first order with coldbloods today and courtland was a great guy to speak with on the phone. not to mention I got more crickets and at a cheaper price.

hopefully tomorrow when they arrive I will be happy with the order.

I've been ordering from him probably since I got back into things, and let me tell you his service is top notch and the crickets have always been great. I think out of all the orders I only had one issue and he corrected it without hesitation. You can't ask for a better bug guy.

I used to use a pretty big company for crix, and at points I was getting 25k per week. Not realizing though that I think the counts were low and I had a lot of die offs. I probably could have cut my cricket bill in half had I had a guy like Courtland.

Chris, you originally pointed me in the direction of coldbloods a while ago on KS and I gotta agree. I love them. They by far are the best cricket and super supplier I have used. I don't use crickets anymore but I still buy supers from him and I recommend him to everyone.

well i got my order today, and it was great! Packaged very well. Sometimes I receive crickets and they are literally spewing through the cracks.

hardly any dead and a nice overcount as well.

I will definitely continue to order from coldbloods.
