Replying to the email just wastes your time as it goes NOWHERE, and probably pisses off the person you thought you replied to when they think you just ignored them. So instead of complaining to me about your messages not being replied to from this site via email, please READ that email notice that plainly states what you need to do in order to reply to who you are trying to converse with.

    Google Adsense ad revenue for December, 2025 was just $30 over the cost of the lease for the server running this site. So, in effect, the money providing the incentive for me to continue running this site is coming SOLELY from the paid memberships and sponsorships here. Which honestly ain't much....

Where to buy 20 Gallon Extra High Tank?

I'm in South Florida (Boca Raton) and I cannot find a 20 gallon extra high
(not "high" but "extra high"-- same footprint as a 10 gallon tank)
tank anywhere. Looking for a new one.

Major pet chains have (what else?) never heard of this tank size and form
factor.

I used to be able to get odd size tanks in Delray Beach at Endless Oceans.
But they closed.

I probably need to visit an independent store to obtain one. I know Deep
Blue makes a 20G Extra High tank; not sure about Aqueon.

Who can recommend a place to get a new 20 gallon Extra High tank
in Boca/Deerfield/Delray/closeby?

I'm not from FL, but there's an LFS called 'Barrier Reef' in Boca Raton -- should be able to order in the size you want.

Marineland and Aqueon both make 20X tanks.
 
I tried Barrier Reef but they only carry
MarineLand aquariums and they say the
20 extra high was discontinued.
They also said they stopped selling so many
different odd sizes because they couldn’t
compete with Petco’s $1 per gallon sales.

They referred me to Petco but I don’t see
that size on their website.
What are my odds at Petco? At best I think
the teenager I encounter will just say no and
walk away at a store like that.

I tried Pet Supermarket but they said they
can’t get that size after checking. At least
they were sincere.
