    In short, DON'T! Email notices are to ONLY alert you of a reply to your private message or your ad on this site. Replying to the email just wastes your time as it goes NOWHERE, and probably pisses off the person you thought you replied to when they think you just ignored them. So instead of complaining to me about your messages not being replied to from this site via email, please READ that email notice that plainly states what you need to do in order to reply to who you are trying to converse with.

    Yeah, I know. They are a pain in the butt. But they pay the bills to keep my server running. Just a fact of life, I am afraid.

    Want to get rid of them? Simple. Just become a Contributor level member or above and they will be gone. -> Please click HERE."

    Is that too much for me to ask of you to keep this site running? Well, sorry about that. I too wish I could get everything for free. But alas.....

    =====================

    Google Adsense ad revenue for December, 2025 was just $30 over the cost of the lease for the server running this site. So, in effect, the money providing the incentive for me to continue running this site is coming SOLELY from the paid memberships and sponsorships here. Which honestly ain't much....

Where to buy bulk crickets?

What happened with wormman that it was such a horrible experience???...I've ordered from them at least 5 times (I really don't know exactly...I don't really keep track...) and I've never had a bad experience....

Wormman does not raise their crickets... little secret here but they are just a broker! As for the other products they "have" I don't know but I have been told from several sources in the food side of our industry that they call once a week or so to see if they will be able to ship for them at such and such price. You didn't have a bad experience simply because the crickets grower they managed to secure for you did their job.

My opinion (for what it's worth) skip the middle man, get them from the ones that raise them!

I think I’ve tried just about every supplier on the west coast. I really like Sunshine Mealworms. When I was ordering crickets they were the cleanest I had ever seen. No spiders at all. I currently order my mealworms and superworms from them and they are the best!

Ill have to say is a darn good thing I have never had a spider in a cricket box because that is one of my biggest fears are spiders.

Ive had prefect crix and perfect delivery from reptiledirect.com and if I ever see a spider in there Ill freak!!!!

My mealies and waxies are from grubco and no problems there either.

The wormman deal, his crix and possible other products are from Bassetts Cricket ranch (I was offered the same deal wormman has on the crix from Bassetts with them giving wormman as a reference), I think all in all Bassetts are good people but wormman does not put in their orders fast enough or until they have enough to make the biggest commission.

I have ordered mealies from Bassetts but feel better with grubo

No real answer as to why I was told I would be charged $13.00 each shipment and instead $19 and $22. I can understand cold weather and the increase of price, but atleast TELL ME UP FRONT.

Hmm.. that's pretty sketchy. Why not just dispute the charges on your card if they're not what you agreed to pay?

I used to use Armstrong crickets (www.armstrongcrickets.com)
Always got great, healthy feeders. When I lived by their "farm" I used to go in and get free feeders for my classroom pets, paid for my other feeders...they are good people. i use roaches now but do supplement with Armstrong's mealies every now and again. Is anyone still using crickets? :shrug01:
