I have read (and heartily agree) with the efforts to polish up the site and make it more professional, and to remove the hesitancy of some to participate in the BOI because they felt that when there was blood in the water the sharks might attack them just for being there and tear flesh no matter what is said.
Yesterday, I found myself making some sharp remarks to a seller who in my opinion had shown some particularly egregious behavior to his buyer. I will not go into the details because BOI issues need to stay on the BOI, but my question deals with my outraged feelings and the remarks made to convey them.
There's no need to cuss or call names, a lot can be said without that sort of behavior. But I believe that even in a professional setting, when dealing with a transaction where one party has basicly shafted the other party, there is room to express the outrage we feel.
What kind of line are we looking at, between unacceptable brawling and an appropriate expression of outrage over a situation brought to the BOI?
