    In short, DON'T! Email notices are to ONLY alert you of a reply to your private message or your ad on this site. Replying to the email just wastes your time as it goes NOWHERE, and probably pisses off the person you thought you replied to when they think you just ignored them. So instead of complaining to me about your messages not being replied to from this site via email, please READ that email notice that plainly states what you need to do in order to reply to who you are trying to converse with.

    Yeah, I know. They are a pain in the butt. But they pay the bills to keep my server running. Just a fact of life, I am afraid.

    Want to get rid of them? Simple. Just become a Contributor level member or above and they will be gone. -> Please click HERE."

    Is that too much for me to ask of you to keep this site running? Well, sorry about that. I too wish I could get everything for free. But alas.....

    =====================

    Google Adsense ad revenue for December, 2025 was just $30 over the cost of the lease for the server running this site. So, in effect, the money providing the incentive for me to continue running this site is coming SOLELY from the paid memberships and sponsorships here. Which honestly ain't much....

Trying to find out if my snakes are full grown. my female has leveled off at about 700 grams and the male around 600g. IS that about full sized for these guys?

Also i have problems with the female striking the sides of the tank. any way to help this behavour?

Not even close. Figure on an adult size of 6-7 ft (avg). I never weighed mine, but I would put them at over 7 lbs.

So if they haven't changed since january they need to be feed more? i feed them one to two mice a week

As for the striking, pretty much all you can do is a) give her a secure hide, b) stop walking within view, or c) put her in a nontranslucent tub (so she can't see you). Honestly, that behavior is not one that you can count on going away...I'd go with the secure hide with a small opening that faces away from life's activities.

how long are they? (that reference works better for me, with most snakes)

Very squirmy and hard to measure but i'd estimate, 3-5 feet. very long thin and fast

Don't stress her out, the 2ft range is close enough, lol. At 3', one mouse per week would leave her less than satisfied (figuratively speaking, of course)...at 4-5 ft, she would certainly be looking for a lot more (small to medium rats)

Can't really feed rats. no good supply o fthem up here. I breed my own mice though, Alot easier to give her two or even three mice than a rat in this area

might be time to get a small rat colony going, lol...mice as a staple diet for those snakes will get old fast.
