    Google Adsense ad revenue for December, 2025 was just $30 over the cost of the lease for the server running this site. So, in effect, the money providing the incentive for me to continue running this site is coming SOLELY from the paid memberships and sponsorships here. Which honestly ain't much....

Dan, that is a very nice largemouth. How big is it?

Did you catch it with that spinning rod? I thought all you guys from "down South" used a bait caster . . .

I used to fish some tournaments up north - but up here 6 pounds is large (shorter growing season).

Very nice!!!
 
Nice fish!...but I see you're using the cheater method and holding out in front of you....lol How big was it? I think the nicest largemouth I've ever caught was this year up in the Thousand Islands in New York...he was between 17 and 18 inches long! Man I love fishing when I catch stuff....lol I don't eat it...but I sure do love fighting the big 'uns!!!
 
bait casting?....HELL! I thought you southerners used dynamite!....how come it's in one piece?
 
That's only like 4 1/2 lbs. My backyard lake is only 9 acres and the biggest we've gotten is 9 lbs. We also have tilapia to 4 lbs. and zillions of plecos to 15 inches plus oscars and Mayan cichlids. A half hour south we get butterfly peacock bass to 8 lbs. I used a microlite spinner with 2 lb test on this one, gotta give them a chance. The big snook and dolphin don't get that chance. Oops, don't wanna get too off topic so here's a pic.

Hey Overton, Could you slap me out of it ? My motto seems to be "buy high, sell low". Sure glad I bought real estate to even things out. It's still cheaper than golf though, and much more fun to watch.
 
Hey now I love to golf lol. Those are awsome Dan seriously very nice. I want to get some just like those infact I want those exact ones. Its better to give than to recieve Dan lol. Especialy with Holidays and all those are all I want for Christmas lol. Just when I think they couldnt get any better you go and bust out some killers. Very nice.:santa: :nuts:
