    Google Adsense ad revenue for December, 2025 was just $30 over the cost of the lease for the server running this site. So, in effect, the money providing the incentive for me to continue running this site is coming SOLELY from the paid memberships and sponsorships here. Which honestly ain't much....

Wow Lindz, that's a lot of elk antlers. Do you buy/sell/collect them for furniture or something? It was a big trade out in Montana when I lived there.

Here's a picture of me! I worked with Project Puffin one summer. This picture was taken on Matinicus Rock, 22 miles off the coast of Maine. On foggy days we'd get migrating birds landing all over our island since they'd land on the first landmass they saw! We've had Blackburnian Warblers, Black-throated Blue Warblers, Common Yellowthroat, and even a male Kentucky Warbler land on the island! The Kentucky Warbler was awesome because it was 300 miles north of its typical range and was the first seen in Maine in a long time! The little female Yellow Warbler was stuck in our boathouse, so I caught her, posed for a picture, and let her go. She's so cute. :)

the antlers were actually from this park out in jackson hole (wyoming i think). i did a road trip with my dad that summer and my mom had flown out to meet us. i think the story was that the boy scouts collect them when they're shed and they made these big arches out of them at the entrances to the park. they were awesome, but a little weird at first.

that bird is so cute! it sounds like a really cool experience and something that would be fun to see.

I thought those antlers looked familiar. Jackson Hole is my mom’s favorite vacationing spot. If it wasn’t so expensive she would live there! LOL.
 
Jackson Hole, Wyoming, eh? I've heard of it, but I haven't been there. Darn! I should've visited it while I was in Montana. Oh well, at least I got to see Yellowstone. Those antlers are pretty cool!

And birds and reptiles are both awesome. Feathers and scales rock!

That was actually a little house/hut that is made entirely from antlers, in Jackson hole Wy.
