In short, DON'T! Email notices are to ONLY alert you of a reply to your private message or your ad on this site. Replying to the email just wastes your time as it goes NOWHERE, and probably pisses off the person you thought you replied to when they think you just ignored them. So instead of complaining to me about your messages not being replied to from this site via email, please READ that email notice that plainly states what you need to do in order to reply to who you are trying to converse with.

Yeah, I know. They are a pain in the butt. But they pay the bills to keep my server running. Just a fact of life, I am afraid.

Want to get rid of them? Simple. Just become a Contributor level member or above and they will be gone. -> Please click HERE."

Is that too much for me to ask of you to keep this site running? Well, sorry about that. I too wish I could get everything for free. But alas.....

Google Adsense ad revenue for December, 2025 was just $30 over the cost of the lease for the server running this site. So, in effect, the money providing the incentive for me to continue running this site is coming SOLELY from the paid memberships and sponsorships here. Which honestly ain't much....

Who is striving to produce new mystic combos?

Just to get an idea, how many people are currently working with mystics or mystic combos to produce new mystic combos? It is a relatively untapped gene, and I was just wanting to get an idea as to who is breeding just to get mystic potions, and who is trying new things. I know that I, for one, am trying for some never before seen mystic combos in these next few seasons, including some super mystic combos. Look forward to everyone's responses!!!

We're shooting for supers next season, then cranking out mystic het pieds. Hoping the super mystic/phantom pieds won't be all white. Hoping RDR produces one next year so we can find out.

The phantom pieds were produced this year by UKExotics. Not all white. They almost look like mojave pieds but their head is darker.

Phantoms projects for me this season... hoping for phantom firefly and vanilla pastel potions.

I'm going to try for some potions this year. I haven't been into ball pytons for long so my breeders are limited to single gene animals right now. Good luck to everyone on their pairings.

I got a really nice mystic male from Alan Cole this year. I'm thinking of putting him with my chocolate mojave next year and maybe also her chocolate cinnamon mojave daughter if she gets to size. Not sure if a chocolate or chocolate cinnamon potion would be an improvement over the already awesome potion but those are the only two types of mojave I have right now.

Sounds awesome guys. I personally will be going for super mystic cinnamons, mystic calicoes, and mystic cinnies. Next year will be interesting to see what everyone ces up with. I can't wait to see the super mystic pied.

We are doing mystic cinnys, mystic savannahs and mystic sables! Also next year we are gonna try mystic fire spiders. Mystic lemonblasts are on that list too but they have been made so its not a new combo

Oops I missed the super part. Yeah I think it will be all white as well, maybe if you add some enchi to it, it will get some pattern.

My view on the situation is that if you add something darker, you have a better chance at it keeping it's color. That is where the cinny, black pastel, or another darkening gene comes in... I am not too sure that enchi would cut it, especially since the enchi gene is known to be a pattern reducer. Since it was proven with Chris Hall's spider potions this year, I would add a pattern mutation in there, just because it seemed to acually give the potions pattern, as opposed to them being mostly purple with a little bit of pattern.

Here is a pic of his female spider potion from his facebook page. As you can see, she doesn't look like a spider much, however, that spider gene definitely had a huge effect on the pattern of the animal. I really feel that the pattern mutiations and the darker genes are going to be the key to ensuring these animals hold their patterns when combined with the pied gene.

Brendan I'll be working on a couple new mystic combos next breeding season. Possibly a bee potion (spider potion x pastave) this coming season and next year jig spot x spider mystic potion.

A potion will be my first...but I only have one mystic, and she's a female. I would have bought a male, but I couldn't find one that I would spend money on :shrug01:
(My female isn't as awesome as I would like, but I got tired of waiting...I've kept my eyes open for an acceptable male; but,) Honestly, I think I'm over the mystic thing. I'll be satisfied with making myself a potion.
I think I might need a male special though.

I was referring to super mystic/phantom pieds not just the super mystic/phantom or potion.
Enchi is probably the only morph proven to be a powerful pattern adder over other pattern/color overtakers like champ and pied. Enchi pieds are very low white with nothing but beautiful enchi pattern on them. Enchi champs are probably the only champ combo (along with the Special Champ) that does not look like other champ combos.
