• In the past two days I have gotten emails asking about being requested to provide credit card info in order to register and also to make a post in the classifieds forums. PLEASE NOTE: In no instance will this site ask you for this sort of information. The only time any request for payment is made is if you choose to opt-in for a higher membership level, and that is done SOLELY through PayPal. Anything else is coming from a source other than this site. My guess is that this is coming through Google Adsense, but when I can get someone to send me a screen shot of this sort of request, I will know more.

    In short, DON'T! Email notices are to ONLY alert you of a reply to your private message or your ad on this site. Replying to the email just wastes your time as it goes NOWHERE, and probably pisses off the person you thought you replied to when they think you just ignored them. So instead of complaining to me about your messages not being replied to from this site via email, please READ that email notice that plainly states what you need to do in order to reply to who you are trying to converse with.

This girl just tried to take my face off. Multiple strikes over and over again. If this is how she acts when she is gravid, she is going to be a biatch to get off the eggs once she lays. LOL.

Heh, I know what you mean! The female I'm hoping will go this year is nicknamed "Bitey." She's gonna be a tough one to peel off eggs as well!

Congratz Steve! I've got a few like that and I agree with the towel over the face and peel away. Even better if you can time it right after laying so that she's too tired to bite with any force....but I'm sure I'm not telling you anything that you don't already know. ;) Good luck with her, and her clutch!!!!

Steve, pretty girl. One of my favorite females that I used to have was a rescue that had pretty much been maintenance fed her whole life and was just constantly starving. She was an absolute cranky pants, bit me and held on the first time I picked her up. She ground her teeth into my flesh while constricting as hard as she could, and I had to stick my arm in the freezer against the frozen sides to get her to let go. :ack2: She was a voracious eater, literally was NEVER full, always wanted more. She had a gorgeous reduced golden pattern with bright burgundy blushing all down her back. She bred without hesitation and always laid six healthy 100g+ eggs with no slugs, no boobs, no windows, nothing. I named her Angel. :D

This girl bit me before she was even fully out of the egg. For the first few months she hated me. For the past few years she has been a total sweetheart. Looks like she is going to be one of those very protective mamas.
Can't wait to see what pops out. She is a het Lentigo that was bred to a nice bee.

so im kinda new to the breeding side of bps and i was wondering how do u remove a female off her eggs without *any* injury to u or the snake

Secure her head and lift while you inwrap her from the eggs.
Not too hard as long as you secure the end that has the pointy things in it before you try to move her. :rofl:

This is an adult Lentigo (father to the gravid girl in this thread) and the 2 baby Lentigos Deb produced from babies of the adult pictured.

Just to elaborate -- put something like a towel over her head in order to calm her and get a grip on her using the towel as you gently lift her away from the eggs. Will be less stressful for her and less risky for you.
 
Good luck! But I still don't understand why you aren't breeding her back to dad. That'd make more sense, imo.
