Just curious if anyone else has noticed anything different with their Gahnns cricket shipments lately. I just got in my shipment of crickets today after ordering them from Gahnn's and several things make me think they are not from Gahnn's. They are in generic cardboard boxes with no name. There was no invoice or packing slip like there usually is. The return address on the fed ex shipping label was torn off. When I called to order the lady "thought she might have some 3/4 and adults" The potatoes are not the ones they usually use. The packing and stacking of the boxes was different than usual. And finally, the count on the 1/4" seemed to be not short like it always is. All these add up to , to me at least, Gahnn's is selling someone elses crickets. I could be wrong but these are a lot of differences from what they used to do.
I don't have a problem with it if they are healthy and the price is the same but I will have to wait and see what my invoice says. Last week I ordered from Southern because Gahnns hasn't had anything larger than 1/8 for the past 2 months or so so I didn't even bother to call them. I didn't order from Southern this week because when I called I got a recording.
Damn this cricket shortage
