    In short, DON'T! Email notices are to ONLY alert you of a reply to your private message or your ad on this site. Replying to the email just wastes your time as it goes NOWHERE, and probably pisses off the person you thought you replied to when they think you just ignored them. So instead of complaining to me about your messages not being replied to from this site via email, please READ that email notice that plainly states what you need to do in order to reply to who you are trying to converse with.

    Yeah, I know. They are a pain in the butt. But they pay the bills to keep my server running. Just a fact of life, I am afraid.

    Want to get rid of them? Simple. Just become a Contributor level member or above and they will be gone. -> Please click HERE."

    Is that too much for me to ask of you to keep this site running? Well, sorry about that. I too wish I could get everything for free. But alas.....

    =====================

    Google Adsense ad revenue for December, 2025 was just $30 over the cost of the lease for the server running this site. So, in effect, the money providing the incentive for me to continue running this site is coming SOLELY from the paid memberships and sponsorships here. Which honestly ain't much....

Why doesn't Vegas have any reptile shows?

I just moved to Vegas and I can't find any info on a possible reptile or exotic pet show. Does anyone know if one will ever be over in this area and if not, does anyone know why?

There was a show in Henderson back in December 10-11th of '05... I had 2 tables there right up front. Turnout was pretty mild, although for me it was fine cause I slept in my own bed. I think the problem is that good advertising is very expensive (I never saw or heard one ad, everyone heard about it online), as well as a good venue is expensive to rent out... Besides that, being in a hot climate, it's hard for alot of local people to keep rainforest types and frogs etc. I breed chameleons here, but it wasn't cheap to set up and isn't cheap to maintain. Same reason Florida is probably the reptile hot spot, followed by California (that's where most of my sales go). It's just easier to keep stuff there. If someone wanted to work on another Vegas show, though, I'm certainly willing to help organize, promote and work it.

I was considering throwing a Vegas show one day, I'll be in touch if it looks to be a reality! I would think people would travel from all over the country to this vacation hot spot for a reptile show.

I'll have to run a local so Cal show first.
