    In short, DON'T! Email notices are to ONLY alert you of a reply to your private message or your ad on this site. Replying to the email just wastes your time as it goes NOWHERE, and probably pisses off the person you thought you replied to when they think you just ignored them. So instead of complaining to me about your messages not being replied to from this site via email, please READ that email notice that plainly states what you need to do in order to reply to who you are trying to converse with.

    Yeah, I know. They are a pain in the butt. But they pay the bills to keep my server running. Just a fact of life, I am afraid.

    Want to get rid of them? Simple. Just become a Contributor level member or above and they will be gone. -> Please click HERE."

    Is that too much for me to ask of you to keep this site running? Well, sorry about that. I too wish I could get everything for free. But alas.....

    =====================

    Google Adsense ad revenue for December, 2025 was just $30 over the cost of the lease for the server running this site. So, in effect, the money providing the incentive for me to continue running this site is coming SOLELY from the paid memberships and sponsorships here. Which honestly ain't much....

why he lick his stone?

Most likely.

They regularly "taste" their surroundings. Make sure your hydrating this little guy properly.

i always spary him with water and a wall of his cage and he have a bowl of water too.

and like 3 times a week a bath .

how much time should i bath him?

they stick their tongue out because...

lizards also snakes taste the air, really what im trying to say is they smell with their tongue they stick their tongue out like u said and they capture the smell molecules in the air and take it into their mouth and transfer that smell into their brain and their brain then tells them what they were smelling. and thats why snakes and lizards stick their tongue out:)

really? i thought that the Jacobsons organ was only in snakes, nvrm i guess im wrong because ive seen my lizards al stick their toungues out when theyre stalking the prey, especially the monitors. Sorry i am just not in the right state of mind at the moment.

Water bowls are no good in a Bearded Dragon's cage. They raise the levels of humidity and are a breeding ground for bacteria! Also, you should be misting your dragon OUT of his cage.

Bearded Dragons are DESERT type reptiles and require a bone dry environment.

I recommened that you take the spray bottle, and just use it to drop waterdroplets on his nose untill he drinks it up. Offer this a few times daily. I also recommend that you bathe your dragon in 90 F degree water about 1-2 times a week (To test this, if you don't have a Tempgun, ect. Try the wrist, 'baby bottle' tester. Where you run the water over your wrist to see that it is warm, not hot!) This also helps keep them hydrated, and they usually like it too! Just make sure the water is no deeper then up to the dragon's elbows to prevent drowning.

water

Actually bearded dragons have pretty large range of environments, you are correct that they need warmth, but i don't believe bone dry is correct. They come from semi-arid/montane regions and have access to water quite frequently. Mine seem to enjoy drinking out of a dish, and the humid Iowa summers have never done them any harm.
