    In short, DON'T! Email notices are to ONLY alert you of a reply to your private message or your ad on this site. Replying to the email just wastes your time as it goes NOWHERE, and probably pisses off the person you thought you replied to when they think you just ignored them. So instead of complaining to me about your messages not being replied to from this site via email, please READ that email notice that plainly states what you need to do in order to reply to who you are trying to converse with.

    Yeah, I know. They are a pain in the butt. But they pay the bills to keep my server running. Just a fact of life, I am afraid.

    Want to get rid of them? Simple. Just become a Contributor level member or above and they will be gone. -> Please click HERE."

    Is that too much for me to ask of you to keep this site running? Well, sorry about that. I too wish I could get everything for free. But alas.....

    =====================

    Google Adsense ad revenue for December, 2025 was just $30 over the cost of the lease for the server running this site. So, in effect, the money providing the incentive for me to continue running this site is coming SOLELY from the paid memberships and sponsorships here. Which honestly ain't much....

I have only had my 2 dragons for a month or 2, so they are only a few months old as they were quite small when I got them. They are about the same size, although the male is slightly bigger. They had always slept on top of one another and seemed to get along fine. A week ago I changed the tank around and put new sand and driftwood in, and ever since they have been keeping their distance, tail-biting and displaying aggressive behaviour. The male is constantly arm waving and standing and scratching on the side of the tank, he tries to go close to the female but she has been chasing, jumping on him and biting him. She seems to be being territorial, but shouldn't the male be the dominant one? I have been told by an enthusiest that they are too young to be trying to mate, and they are definately male and female. I've been trying to find out why they are all of a sudden fighting, and I can't find any info on females being aggressive (they are in good condition and have a good diet).

PLEASE HELP :confused:

I agree with Sara. I would separate them into different enclosures. You would have to separate them sooner or later any ways. You would not want to house them as adults for the male will stress the female out wanting to mate.

They are suddenly fighting because you changed the tank around. In their old "territory" they were established and had their pecking order worked out. You just put them in a brand new territory by changing the tank, therefore they need to work out the pecking order again. But I would separate them regardless.

Competition almost always causes one big dominant dragon, and one little stressed out dragon.

Hope that helps

Sarah
