I have only had my 2 dragons for a month or 2, so they are only a few months old as they were quite small when I got them. They are about the same size, although the male is slightly bigger. They had always slept on top of one another and seemed to get along fine. A week ago I changed the tank around and put new sand and driftwood in, and ever since they have been keeping their distance, tail-biting and displaying aggressive behaviour. The male is constantly arm waving and standing and scratching on the side of the tank, he tries to go close to the female but she has been chasing, jumping on him and biting him. She seems to be being territorial, but shouldn't the male be the dominant one? I have been told by an enthusiest that they are too young to be trying to mate, and they are definately male and female. I've been trying to find out why they are all of a sudden fighting, and I can't find any info on females being aggressive (they are in good condition and have a good diet).
