Thoughts that popped into my head watching this:
- Deer commonly access areas where cattle also are present. Are the cattle that produce our beef for our tables also possible to be infected?
- Deer commonly access fields where food crops are being grown. Can these food crops uptake the prions dropped into the soil by infected deer?
- Are fish susceptible of carrying these prions by being in infected waters? If so, ALL waters tend to eventually make their way to the oceans.
- It was stated that it takes 900 degrees F. to kill these prions. So cooking will not help if these prions infect the food supply.
- It has been said that humanity will end with a whimper, instead of a bang. Like with something of this nature, I guess.
