In short, DON'T! Email notices are to ONLY alert you of a reply to your private message or your ad on this site. Replying to the email just wastes your time as it goes NOWHERE, and probably pisses off the person you thought you replied to when they think you just ignored them. So instead of complaining to me about your messages not being replied to from this site via email, please READ that email notice that plainly states what you need to do in order to reply to who you are trying to converse with.

Yeah, I know. They are a pain in the butt. But they pay the bills to keep my server running. Just a fact of life, I am afraid.

Want to get rid of them? Simple. Just become a Contributor level member or above and they will be gone. -> Please click HERE."

Is that too much for me to ask of you to keep this site running? Well, sorry about that. I too wish I could get everything for free. But alas.....

Google Adsense ad revenue for December, 2025 was just $30 over the cost of the lease for the server running this site. So, in effect, the money providing the incentive for me to continue running this site is coming SOLELY from the paid memberships and sponsorships here. Which honestly ain't much....

Hey everyone,

Just wanted to drop a quick and well deserved good guy thread for William Gangemi known on Fauna under the username "Gangemiw".

I contacted William yesterday in regards to rather high orange male eastern box turtle he had posted for sale. Communication was very smooth, with quick responses.

I sent payment shortly after initial contact and William said that he'd be able to ship the same day for arrival today (8/16).

The turtle arrived very well packaged, alert and appearing to be healthy on all visible fronts. Hydrated already, and I am beyond pleased. A cold pack was used and served its purpose well, keeping the turtle cool throughout shipping.

All in all, great transaction and I will definitely be doing business with William Gangemi again in the future to come.

Thanks.

Attached is a picture of the eastern male.

While I'd rather not buy from importers, I recently purchased some croc skinks from him. Other than the male being slightly injured previously (scarred tail) and the female being a sub-adult, everything else about them was great. They had very low levels of parasites and bacteria, which is expected. Could tell they had been eating because they were chubby like they should have been.
As far as I know hes connected with Strictly Reptiles and they've had a troubling past, but it appears they may have changed, or luck played a part.

William, thanks for your input. I'll stand by my words, this EBT male has been in Gangemi's hands for a year now and the health really shines bright in it.

Glad the skinks you received were healthy.
