Well, I lost an egg a couple of weeks ago. I believe it went bad around day 40. I cut it and found a colorless, patternless snake, but don't know if it was a BEL or if it just had not started developing color and pattern yet. When I found it, it had been bad for at least a few days. The smell kept me from fooling with it for more than a few seconds.

But fast forward to present day, where things are looking a little brighter. Today is #57, and I have little pippers...inlcuding 1 BEL. I hope to have better pics soon!!

Thank you, Sir!!! I'm so happy that I produced my first BEL, and it's 100% het ghost to boot...but I already traded it so I REALLY wanted 2!!!

Thanks, Steve! Well, it started out as IF I get TWO BEL's then I'll offer the 2nd as trade. This is all part of an ongoing, big trade. This guy that I'm working with has turned out to be one of the nicest guys that I've worked with, and we've become friends. Somewhere along the way--lol, probably after a couple of beers--I said, "You know what? If I only get a single BEL, it's yours." I can't go back on my word so... LOL--I'm not really upset that I'm letting it go, considering what I got in return. Just wish I'd gotten 2!! Guess I'll have to make more next year!

And these are just 2 of the reasons that I'm not having a problem letting it go. First is a 2007 Gibson SG Select Top in mint condition. The second is an all original, 1974 Gibson Les Paul 20th Anniversary. It's in awesome condition for a 37 year old, vintage guitar.

Those are some nice guitars it makes me wanna have one even though I don't know how to play.

They sound sweet, but they're spending more time on the wall as eye-candy while I play others that I'm less worried about putting wear-n-tear on. Definitely not my everyday players.

I tried to get a couple of shots, but the BEL seems to keep retreating, every time I get a decent shot lined up! The rest of them are just looking up like, "what about me??" lol

I really can't believe how purple this super is! I guess that's pretty normal for a pre-shed super mojo?? This is my first time seeing a BEL hatch, in person, so I'm only guessing.

It looks like it was just still in the later stages of development. This morning it was much more pink than purple, and when I JUST checked on it, it was already getting much more white.
