In short, DON'T! Email notices are to ONLY alert you of a reply to your private message or your ad on this site. Replying to the email just wastes your time as it goes NOWHERE, and probably pisses off the person you thought you replied to when they think you just ignored them. So instead of complaining to me about your messages not being replied to from this site via email, please READ that email notice that plainly states what you need to do in order to reply to who you are trying to converse with.

Yeah, I know. They are a pain in the butt. But they pay the bills to keep my server running. Just a fact of life, I am afraid.

Want to get rid of them? Simple. Just become a Contributor level member or above and they will be gone. -> Please click HERE."

Is that too much for me to ask of you to keep this site running? Well, sorry about that. I too wish I could get everything for free. But alas.....

    =====================

Google Adsense ad revenue for December, 2025 was just $30 over the cost of the lease for the server running this site. So, in effect, the money providing the incentive for me to continue running this site is coming SOLELY from the paid memberships and sponsorships here. Which honestly ain't much....

I have lots of wood products/ hard goods for sale.

Driftwood - various sizes and shapes

Branches - Mountain Laurel wood (incredibly water and rot resistant, great shapes) and Serviceberry wood (often has nice patches of moss coloration and gray, another water resistant wood)

Oak lengths - Provides a naturalistic climbing surface. Easy to clean, and very durable. Again, another water resistant wood.
Less than 1" to 5"+ diameter.

Red oak - similar to driftwood, yet more rot resistant. It has an unfinished grain, unlike driftwood, but If you'd prefer it smoother, I'll sand it for free.

Bamboo - Great for Phelsuma sp.
Less than 1" - 2"+ diameter.

Oak leaves, grape vine, twisting lianas, and dry sphagnum and sheet moss.

*Over the summer, I may try to get some larger bamboo, diameters of 5" and up. If you would be interested at all, please let me know, and we can work something out.

Please contact me for more specific pricing and photos of individual pieces. All of the wood and bamboo is cured thoroughly before I ship out, to ensure buyer satisfaction.
Thanks, and have a great day!

Small pieces (12") are $3.00 a piece

Medium pieces (20") are $5.00 a piece

Large pieces (24") are $7.00 a piece.

For anything larger, I'd be willing to work out pricing. I'll be able to get more individual photos as well this upcoming weekend if you'd be interested. Thanks!

Sure!

It looks similar to the light piece in the photo. I have some with two intertwined. I can do $2.00 a piece.

Thanks,
K

Very cool. Do those look good sanded. I don't mind sanding them myself but just wondering if the natural look is better?
Thanks.

They're a soft wood, and tend to look better with the bark on in my opinion. There is a lot of vascular tissue in them, which has a bold grain, so I suppose you could do it either way.

Hmm...that's very true. I see what you mean from the pics. I think I'd go with natural. But with bark I'd have to make sure to bake it for a little to kill any parasites that like to hide in bark on branches.

I think I could do a couple of pieces, as long as the shipping isn't bad. What's shipping to 29642 for about 4 of these?

I'll make sure to cure them all before I send them to you.

Shipping would be $6 via USPS.

Thanks,
K

Sure I could do 4 pieces. That would be 8 dollars plus 6 dollars shipping. That would be 14 dollars total. Do you do paypal? My email for paypal is [email protected]. Send me an invoice. It may be the 6th before I can get it to ya but once I do just send them on. :) Thanks!
