    In short, DON'T! Email notices are to ONLY alert you of a reply to your private message or your ad on this site. Replying to the email just wastes your time as it goes NOWHERE, and probably pisses off the person you thought you replied to when they think you just ignored them. So instead of complaining to me about your messages not being replied to from this site via email, please READ that email notice that plainly states what you need to do in order to reply to who you are trying to converse with.

    Yeah, I know. They are a pain in the butt. But they pay the bills to keep my server running. Just a fact of life, I am afraid.

    Want to get rid of them? Simple. Just become a Contributor level member or above and they will be gone. -> Please click HERE."

    Is that too much for me to ask of you to keep this site running? Well, sorry about that. I too wish I could get everything for free. But alas.....

    =====================

    Google Adsense ad revenue for December, 2025 was just $30 over the cost of the lease for the server running this site. So, in effect, the money providing the incentive for me to continue running this site is coming SOLELY from the paid memberships and sponsorships here. Which honestly ain't much....

About 60 days ago I got a clutch from my Josie male bred to a small 08' Pastel Female, this girl has always been a problem feeder for me but had decent weight for her going into this season so I decided to give her a shot. I got 3 slugs and 1 good egg from her and it looks like the odds Gods were actually on my side on this one.

Thanks to Joe Ellis for starting this project and letting me get in on it.:thumbsup:

Thanks Amanda, Yeah Joe is stoked. I cant wait to see this thing with a little size, the Josie ball just gets lighter and better with age.

Gorgeous! I also would like to see some pictures as (hopefully he) gets bigger and has shed a few times.

can someone post a pic of a Josie I've never seen one before.. But that pastel Josie is great looking..

Is the Josie possibly on the same allele as fire?
Sure looks a lot like a firefly, beautiful snake Bob, congrats!

I own both a fire and a josie and the two really couldnt be any more different. I highly doubt its on the same allele as fire, or anything else. I would say the closest thing it could be compared to is a desert, speaking for the one in my racks anyway :D But there has already been a clutch of good eggs from Joes adult female :thumbsup:

Holy CRAP, what an amazing first!! And from a single good egg, too!! BIG...no, HUGE congrats on that "clutch"!! :thumbsup:

Very nice, i was behind this project 100% im glad someone finally made a combo with it. There was alot of doubts about this project but i knew great things were going to come good job for breaking the barrier.

Nice looking animal. Congrats.

Any other Josie combos likely to be coming out this year that you know of?

Thanks everyone, it is a Female which I am actually excited about because Joe has hatched out mostly Males. The Josie honestly gets better with age, my male just keeps getting lighter and lighter so I cant wait to see this girl with some size on her. Cant say for sure about it being on the same allele as the Fire but I dont think so. I know there is a Lesser Josie in the works which should be hott but thats all I know for now.

Heres a quick pic of Dad with a normal for comparison
