    In short, DON'T! Email notices are to ONLY alert you of a reply to your private message or your ad on this site. Replying to the email just wastes your time as it goes NOWHERE, and probably pisses off the person you thought you replied to when they think you just ignored them. So instead of complaining to me about your messages not being replied to from this site via email, please READ that email notice that plainly states what you need to do in order to reply to who you are trying to converse with.

Worried about my bearded dragon!

Hello, I have an almost one year old male bearded dragon. One of his front legs is swollen, I read up and thought he may not be getting enough calcium so I have been giving him tons of powdered super worms. This all started about 4 days ago. Well, it's still swollen and today I saw him lifting a back leg up? I think the other front may be starting to swell too. Plus, he was always a voracious eater, now not so much. He is still eliminating, but I'm very concerned. What can/should I do to help my guy??

Hi Christine....it may be gout or septic arthritis. If you can find a qualified reptile vet they can do certain tests to find out. I stress that it should be a qualified vet, one that deals with bearded dragons. They might tale an X-ray or do a needle aspiration to check the joints to see if there are crystals.
