    Google Adsense ad revenue for December, 2025 was just $30 over the cost of the lease for the server running this site. So, in effect, the money providing the incentive for me to continue running this site is coming SOLELY from the paid memberships and sponsorships here. Which honestly ain't much....

Last time we received over 300 animals from Xtreme and many of them was WC, not 1 tick not 1 mite in any of the boxes.

- I can assure you I will be dealing with Extreme reptiles sooner or later. However no ticks on WC animals? Now come on, your stretching the truth a bit there. I don't think I have ever got an order of over 20 WC fresh imports (snakes) with out at least one tick.....lol

Well I was going to stay out but now it’s my turn. I order many thousands of dollars a year from extreme yearly. I place orders pretty much every week. In over 2 years now I have never had 1 problem.(worth complaining about) If you as a customer are going to buy wild caught animals at wholesale pricing you can’t expect a-grade animals. Braden you are crying about receiving your order 3 days after ordered???Damm you are a tough one to please we can see. If you don’t like ticks then don’t order $15 dollar wild caught balls. Go pay $75 or 100 bux for someone’s captives. You got credit for the what you claim to be a bad monitor. Must be nice try to get that from some of the other wholesalers. I have used 5 different wholesalers out of Florida. Extreme is the best for the price by far. I would say 75-80% of their animals are very good. I had to order from one of Alfredo’s competitors last week because he was out of what I needed. I received ½ of what I ordered, paid a higher price because I had heard he had good product, and received garbage. I received a 1-eyed Sumatran water monitor that could not walk and paid nearly double what I could have bought it for from others. It died the next morning.But the chondro i got from him ate the next day and is a-plus grade. It looks the woman posting about the turtle is not intelligent enough to own reptiles and should have never even received her 1st one. Extreme is the very best wholesaler you can buy from but if you think you are going to get a-plus quality you can forget it. Those of us that order wholesale know in advance that we are going to have to treat what we get in inside and out. We know we are going to get some sub-par animals. If your un-happy with extreme then just send me an email and I will send you to some wholesalers down there that will blow your mind. If you get 30% of your order in in good condition it will be a miracle.

I agree with Alfredo i mean please people. Everonye on here that has dealth with alfredo or his animals and company knows the truth. Good animals Good prices and a good knowalagable staff. I have not dont thousands and thousands with Alfredo but am smart enough to know quality when i see it. It has become Aparent that everyone on here trying to start bad against many many good threads are wasting there own time. Please stop contributing to these peoples stupid posts about bad deals Chris Godino
 
Well, asking people not to post about bad deals is kind of defeating one purpose of the BOI. I'm sure that most folks can make the distinction between dealing with a wholesaler and a retailer. In any case, the core customers of Xtreme are going to be resellers who have realistic expectations in regards to the condition of the animals, typical level of service available when moving large orders, etc. I think when reading the thread, that the general public who may be buying from Xtreme (or not, if Alfredo really decides to stop selling to the general public, which would probably be a good idea just from the standpoint of concentrating on his core business) can still benefit, as well as newer wholesale customers.

Even with the bad posts, we can get an idea of the general state of business with Xtreme (which looks good IMO). We can get an idea about Alfredo's opinions on some subjects and level of customer service from his own replies. Not that he's obligated to reply, of course, and replies here, which may be a bit heated or defensive, may not be a perfect picture, but at least we get a chance to see some of Alfredo's personality, which can help someone decide if they want to deal with the company.

Overall, I don't see much wrong in this thread or the other one. Issues were brought up, and both sides were given equal opportunity to reply in each case, as were satisfied customers.
 
Wow i new i might hit a nerve with someone, but i did not expect this. I am just saying what my experience was. I guess every time i get paid i should just hand my money on over to xtreme, and just hope i get something out of it. I mean come on, between the parasites, dead animals, half dead animals, poor delivery and the way they blew me off on the phone, i think i have a right to say something. I think i tried 4 times to get animals from them before i finally gave up on them. The one thing they did do is give me a free shipping, but i will never use it. Maybe i just had a long run of bad luck with them. I am not telling people to stay away from xtreme, i thought people should here both ends of there business. Try them them out, i could care less. Everything i said was the truth, i did not stretch it out. I have no reason to lie, that was my experience and thats that. Have a nice day. :no_evil01
 
You know what, i am not done. I was just sitting here going over the replies to my posts and decided to lay it all out. You people only stick up for these big importers because they keep money in your pocket. You dont have to worry about the quality of the animals. You buy them, jack up the price a little bit and sell them to poor little 10 year old johnny down the street. Who is going to be crushed when his snake is eaten alive by internal parasites or chooses not to feed and slowly whithers away. My personnal favorite are you guys who take all your wild caught crap to trade shows, and cut the throats of the people who spend all there time and money producing quality captive bred animals. Sure for all of you who buy massive amounts junk and pawn it off on to others, xtreme is the way to go. If your someone looking to buy animals in hopes of starting your own project or just to have a pet, stay away. thanx Branden Charles :no01:

I just wanted to respond.Branden,I,myself do not buy large amounts to turn around and sell for profit.I am interested in bolstering the genetic diversity of the type of boas that I breed and sometimes w/c blood is the best means to do so.You should not be attacked for your response,as this is the reason for this forum.I know that I am going to take some of my recently purchased boas to the vet(looks like maybe 3 out of 21).But in my experience,that is far above the standard of most large importers/exporters/brokers than you will ever see.I am entering my 18th year of the herp hobby(its still one for me ;) )and I remember just getting lists with no guarantee that what you got was what you ordered and would that seller be in business next week.Things have changed for the better.You didnt have good experiences with Xtreme,no problem.It happens.It doenst give you the right to generalize everybody that purchases form Xtreme as peddelers of "wild caught crap" looking to victimize childrens enthusiastic venture into this exciting world of herps.I think you were offended,and that can happen in situations where people disagree.Hope all goes well for you in your herp endeavors.Marcus Quesada
 
Hey Marcus, i was not offended by the responses posted on here, i just wanted to ruffle a few feathers. Some of the people that come on here are just so anal. I love to get them going. I have only posted on here a few times, and each time i got a response from some idiot who either thinks i am lying or cant handle what i have to say. Apparently you fail to see the value of the BOI if all you use it to do is to ruffle feathers. Posts like that are a drain on the BOI.

Well I know I have purchased not from Xtreme directly but I do have some of what they sell. I'm planning on making a purchase from them shortly just from what i have bought from others.

Xtreme has a real scam going on. Xtreme Did Not refund me any money...Hes posting bogus refund slips....................Beware of these people...No pun intended when i say these people realy go to the xtreme....
 
The original post i made on here was my real experience, i made the second post because again i got responses from people who cant except other peoples opinions. Why should i take these guys seriously, they just want to argue with me. If anyone can tell me what part of this site i can go to where just the facts are said and nobody gets butt hurt because i dont exactly agree with everyone please let me know. If it makes everyone happy, here it goes. Xtreme reptiles is an awesome company, i got nothing but great service from them. My orders always come on time and the animals are top notch. The people that work there are great they were nice on the phone and were quick to answer my questions. I recommend them to anyone looking to get quality reptiles. There you go, can i be part of the brown nosing club now. I thought this site was made to give people knowledge of different dealers out there, i guess i was wrong, unless you happen to agree with the majority group. Can you guys just get over yourselves and realize your not the only ones buying reptiles out there, and there might be that chance that not everyone has the same experience. I guess I will have to Post her whole credit slip, including her credit card #, and expiration date, and phone # and address for the whole world wide web to see in order for her to admit it... What do you guys think? shall we help the credit card fraud lovers by showing all her info!!! This woman is a piece of work.. I will bet she didnt even bother checking with her cc company to see if a refund was issued.... I tell you, im too nice to some people, not too mention she doesnt bother answering the phones

This is my final word for now, I tried to email Alfraudo personally to see if he can shed some light on the crap service i recieved from them. I was polite and curtious and even appologized for calling him a mite farmer. I even brought up the fact that would like to give them a try again. I may have gone about it the wrong way when i posted my remarks about xtreme, but thats what happened. When he emailed me back all he said was that he would allow me purchase from him again if i posted my email to him and apollogized online. Apollogies for what, I was only wrong for calling him names, and i apollogized for that. I am not at all sorry for telling everyone what kind of service i recieved. I wish he could of been real with me, but oh well, what does he care i am just another dollar bill in his pocket. If your someone buying animals to resale for profit, and you can afford alot of them, so that when most of them die you have enough left over to make your money and profit, extreme is perfect. If you want to buy a few animals to start a collection for breeding or for your own enjoyment, please spend the extra money and buy some quality animals, you will lose money, time and more importantly animals, if you go through extreme. This is for Alfredo, This is Desert Rat 420. I wanted to email you personally, and and get a little closure to this. I may have been a little sarcastic with my remarks about your buisness, but i have never been known to keep my mouth shut about something i believe in. The experience i had with you was exactly the way it happened and was not buttered up one bit. I dont know if i caught you on a bad day or what, but you were not exactly pleasent on the phone. I first heard about your company from a friend of mine who has done buisness with you before. He never had a problem with you other than the mites, and as far as calling you guys mite farmers in my thread remark that is something i do appologies for, it was uncalled for. I understand that when you are dealing with wild caught animals that is something that is definently to be expected. My biggest problem was the animals coming in in poor shape. In one of my orders i recieved 4 boas, 3 spiny tailed iguanas, one nile monitor, and one tegu, two bloods and 4 turtles. I know that order is small compared to the other orders you recieve, but i am not made of money and its significent to me. The order sat in florida for about 48 hours after the original arrival time. When they showed up the monitor was dead, the tegu was dying and too far gone to bring back to health. The iguanas i lost about 4 days later and one boa i had to youthinize do to its injuries and another died soon after and thats the truth. I dont remember the exact prices but it was somewhere around a 130$ that i lost. Thats just on that one order there were other orders from you where i lost animals i just wanted to give you an example. That is money that i can not afford to throw away. I just want to know if all these people had great experiences with you, what made me so different. Is it because i am not dropping as much money as your other customers or do you not have the resources to properly house and maintain certain species of animals and those are ones i should stay clear of. It almost seems you have to buy enough animals at one time so that when some die off you have enough left over to come out ahead of the deal. Bottom line is i would love to to be a customer again, i just want to know between me and you if its pointless for someone like me with limited funds to order from you. I please ask you to respond, the comments i made on reptile fauna were for people to get a two sided view of things, that is what the site is for, and it was nothing personnal. It's apparent that this guy wants a material restitution, along with some sort of long winded apology even though his actions thus far have done nothing but deserve less.

Write it off, move on. You tried, this character obviously cannot understand that you went out of your way to try and settle a situation when most would have told him to take a hike.

Let’s hope you understood that I was trying to mediate in the thread between you and Mickey in the General Business Discussions. My intentions were to be as impartial as possible.
