    In short, DON'T! Email notices are to ONLY alert you of a reply to your private message or your ad on this site. Replying to the email just wastes your time as it goes NOWHERE, and probably pisses off the person you thought you replied to when they think you just ignored them. So instead of complaining to me about your messages not being replied to from this site via email, please READ that email notice that plainly states what you need to do in order to reply to who you are trying to converse with.

    Yeah, I know. They are a pain in the butt. But they pay the bills to keep my server running. Just a fact of life, I am afraid.

    Want to get rid of them? Simple. Just become a Contributor level member or above and they will be gone. -> Please click HERE."

    Is that too much for me to ask of you to keep this site running? Well, sorry about that. I too wish I could get everything for free. But alas.....

    =====================

    Google Adsense ad revenue for December, 2025 was just $30 over the cost of the lease for the server running this site. So, in effect, the money providing the incentive for me to continue running this site is coming SOLELY from the paid memberships and sponsorships here. Which honestly ain't much....

Just got back from a week at Yellowstone, and wanted to share a few pictures. All taken with my crappy 4 year old point and shoot Canon. No edits other than to crop and resize.

Mother Nature is pretty freaking amazing. And dangerous, too.

Been wanting to see that myself, but would be my luck that the day I got out there would be the day this giant volcano decides to blow it's cork...

There were times where it definitely was a bit unnerving, but I figure if it did go off, at least I wouldn't know it.

I hope that bad boy continues to slumber.

Nice pics. Last time I was at Yellowstone, I was a little kid. I remember being in our car and having it shook by a big bear.

Hmm, well I guess that's a reason for me NOT to go to Yellowstone. I doubt the park rules allow for shooting a bear for scratching your vette's paint job....

The only thing that will get close to your car is bison and maybe elk. The grizzlies we saw were incredibly human-shy, and the rangers are continually working to keep it that way.

Had one ornery bison bull eyeball our crv. I'm sure you've seen that old crazy cow rolling eyes thing, it was kinda like that. I didn't stick around to see what he'd do.

Only thing that touched our car were a couple of rude folks who thought it would apparently be hilarious to write "wash me" in the pollen on our tailgate, and one incredibly artistic person who stopped and took the time to draw a smiley face and middle finger in the snow on the hood. Next time, I'm going in the off season, when the *real* animals are gone.

Just a little bit. What we like to call suntannin' weather out here. :D

Here's a few more pictures.

Those are gorgeous! I've always had a special fondness for the upper geyser area and Mammoth Hot Springs. I'd be on a plane right now if I could, lol.

Thanks for sharing, Shadera, I know you had a great time :)
