Hi, I've returned to Texas for the summer. I have another rescue here. This young boy is under a year old. He's a leatherback, not sure of bloodline. He was taken off a child at school when he was much smaller. He thought he could raise him in his pocket!! He's been cared for ever since here. He's about 18 inches long, not sure of weight, unbred. He's gentle, not over active, no cage dancing, very calm. He feeds on cricket and worms. We've tried to almost force greens on him, he sometimes eats them but mostly ignores them. He's clean, his under belly is white and clean. For some reason he only uses the restroom in a warm water pan he won't go in his cage. He likes to soak every other day. He's in shed right now, his colors are much redder/orange.
The adoption fee is local pick up in San Antonio and you coming to my house once or twice, I need to meet you first. These are rescue animals and must not go to inexperienced, under equipped persons or gifts for small children. He comes with his setup, a 40 gallon tank, all hood lights and hood, new reptisun in there and with a few dozen crickets and worms. It just all has to go to the right person. I don't need him taken off my hands, I need to place him with the right person. That is the adoption fee, I don't accept money or make money off of animals.
