    In short, DON'T! Email notices are to ONLY alert you of a reply to your private message or your ad on this site. Replying to the email just wastes your time as it goes NOWHERE, and probably pisses off the person you thought you replied to when they think you just ignored them. So instead of complaining to me about your messages not being replied to from this site via email, please READ that email notice that plainly states what you need to do in order to reply to who you are trying to converse with.

    Yeah, I know. They are a pain in the butt. But they pay the bills to keep my server running. Just a fact of life, I am afraid.

    Want to get rid of them? Simple. Just become a Contributor level member or above and they will be gone. -> Please click HERE."

    Is that too much for me to ask of you to keep this site running? Well, sorry about that. I too wish I could get everything for free. But alas.....

    =====================

    Google Adsense ad revenue for December, 2025 was just $30 over the cost of the lease for the server running this site. So, in effect, the money providing the incentive for me to continue running this site is coming SOLELY from the paid memberships and sponsorships here. Which honestly ain't much....

There has been recent threads stating of ill relations with Zheng and transactions that have supposedly not gone well. I am not trying to denounce anyone's opinions or experiences but merely stating my own experience with Zheng.
I recently just purchased 0.0.2 Nephrurus amyae from him after drooling over them for a long time. I did in fact read the BOI thread on him and continued to go through with the transaction. My experience with him was perfectly fine. I first sent him a down payment on the amyae to hold them while I waited for more money to transfer to my PayPal and he held them for me untill I put the full payment on them. Due to unpredictable winter whether, I requested that he hold them for me a while longer and he did it without a problem. The whole time he kept in good communication with me. He shipped them out the week of Christmas so I expected them to arrive later than the usual 10:30 AM due to FedEx being overloaded, nothing to do with Zheng however. They arrived packaged very well, plenty of padding in the box and a 40 hour heat pack that was still warm upon unpacking. The amyae both ate that night and were just what I was expecting when I began the transaction.
I feel that everybody has a bad transaction sometimes and everyone makes mistakes when selling and shipping animals at least once and eventually leaves one party unsatisfied. I don't feel it to be neccassary to totally denounce someone based on one sub par transaction. My experience with Zheng was perfectly normal and I got some great looking amyae for a decent price.

It may be true that something can go wrong for anybody. But the proof of character and good business ethics is how they RESOLVE the situation after it goes wrong. So far, I haven't seen a shred of evidence that Zheng has done anything to resolve the issues that have been brought up.

I'm glad your transaction went well. But just like "one bad transaction doesn't make a bad guy"....I could also say that "one good transaction doesn't make a good guy." It's not that something went wrong...it's the lack of reasonable resolution that is the problem with Zheng and folks like him.
