Please note that the information requested during registration will be used to determine your legitimacy as a participant of this site. As such, any information you provide that is determined to be false, inaccurate, misleading, or highly suspicious will result in your registration being rejected. This is designed to try to discourage as much as possible those spammers and scammers that tend to plague sites of this nature, to the detriment of all the legitimate members trying to enjoy the features this site provides for them.
Of particular importance is the REQUIREMENT that you provide your REAL full name upon registering. Sorry, but this is not like other sites where anonymity is more the rule.
Also your TRUE location is important. If the location you enter in your profile field does not match the location of your registration IP address, then your registration will be rejected. As such, I strongly urge registrants to avoid using a VPN service to register, as they are often used by spammers and scammers, and as such will be blocked when discovered when auditing new registrations.
Sorry about all these hoops to jump through, but I am quite serious about blocking spammers and scammers at the gate on this site and am doing the very best that I can to that effect. Trust me, I would rather be doing more interesting things with my time, and wouldn't be making this effort if I didn't think it was worthwhile.

Question about leo pricing
I ran into some money problems recently so to try and come up with some cash, I figured I would sell some leos.
Well, it seems that no one wants to buy them but everyone has an opinion on the price.
Since they anonymously email me, I am coming here for honest opinions.
I posted the 3 leos below for $300 shipped. Now keep in mind, I ship Fed-Ex which is $45 for overnight service. Not to mention I use brand new insulated boxes, individual deli cups, and heat packs if required.
That means you are really paying $255 for these three. With a $45 shipping fee and no charge for packing or if you pay by paypal.
So. Now that I have that out of the way. Please give me your honest opinion.
Are these worth the price or are they really worth the $150 shipped which seems to be the concensus on the emails to me.
They are a breeder size female hypo tang, a pastel/snow female that will be breeder size this Summer, and a Tremper line albino that was incubated for female but is still too young for me to accurately sex.

If you cut a hundred off the price I am sure someone will scoop them up fast..... I would say try to get atleast 200 for the trio shipped..... That hypo female alone is worth about 100 bucks....

Steve, since you asked for honesty.... here goes.
These are what I would price them at if they were mine.
$75 for the hypoish tang.
$45 for the pastel.
$35 for the little Tremper albino.
Add $45 for shipping and you get $200 shipped or the individual prices plus $45 for shipping. As I said this is how I would price them if I were selling them. I'm sorry that you have to let them go. I think that the hardest thing to do as a seller is to price your own animals. Especially when you don't really want to sell them in the first place.

Exactly. I don't really want to sell them but really didn't know what the price would be.
Maybe I will get lucky and run into some money and not have to sell them.

To be totally honest.
I have $155 in the group so that plus $45 shipping is $200.
However, they have grown a lot since in my care.

I have had this girl listed for a while at $60(plus shipping) which I think is pretty reasonale, she glows orange but no one wants to pay that it seems. I am getting completly out of leos just because of the pricing you can not get anything for them anymore. Shanell. She is also in shed in this pic.

I just saw that auction....and would love to get her. She looks a lot like Gilean, and I think they would make a good breeding pair. I just don't have the money.

I like this thread, I'm starting out as well, and it would be cool to get some opinions from folks who've been around a while...I estimated the worth of this animal (a juvenile super-hypo tangerine) to be maybe $50.00. I'd like to know if I'm in the ballpark, figuring out what the animals are worth. What would you price it at?
